Advantages: Can play re writen CD's and has Bass Boost. Disadvantages: Well it is only CD quality (not MP3)
...also from a good make philips although it is not a sony, this CD player is still of high quality.
I would recomend it to any one that is looking for a CD player to relax with not for sporty use. I have found that it was over all a good buy for what I needed it for but I have recently upgrade to an Ipod.
The headphone I should comment on, they were not of the best quality and the rubber outer piece fell of within a month and the sharp metal underneath ...
Advantages: PORTABLE, PRODUCES GOOD SOUND. Disadvantages: VERY LIMITED TECHIES.
...things to write about the Philips CD player device. Well its limited techies is of advantage because it does not get you confused some where along the line unlike other device that has a lot of techies and get you confused along the line. I got this in January but had no much interest in writing the review but I decided to write the review. Produces good and moderate sound system especially with a nice fixed speaker. On the other hand, it is very ... ...I wanted to give a Philips product a try so I had to buy it.
One thing that nearly pissed me off was when I discovered that there was no build in radio but I still went on with it just considered that this is just a portable CD player.
I like MP3s so it made me to go on with it and I am happy with that. Its control module is quite easy to operate so that is not going to be the problem. Too thin than others but comfortable when taken around and ...

Review of Philips EXP5463
Advantages: Looks great and very reasonably priced! Disadvantages: The lid can be moved around a bit to easily for my liking!
...the CD reader.
The Philips has a reasonable battery time of 30hours which is about right if you want to take it for a day or two out some where with out the battery going straight away.
The thickness is very good at 21mm, which is in fact the same as some of the more expensive walkmans.
Unlike the slightly cheaper walkmans the PHILIPS plays not only CDs and CDR but CDRW which is good for someone like myself.
The sound quality is great and like ... ...good quality headphones and a handy remote control which is very useful when your Cd player is in your bag etc.. Although it doesn't have a screen on the remote to tell you which track you are listening to. The remote has a play, stop, next/back a track and volume.
The actual walkman has mode changes like repeat, shuffle etc...
In conclusion, it looks very cool and is very good for the price tag. If in any doubt listen to the wise words of San-tino ...
Advantages: Loud enough Disadvantages: A bit slow, cheap earphones
I've had this for a couple of years, I originally bought it because it was able to play mp3s from CDR and CDRW. Although I do have a dedicated mp3 player, I would rather listen to my CDs on this.
I did find the mp3 navigation to be slow, and this wasn't helped by the limited display.
Sometimes it takes a while to get started when it comes to CD playback as well, and it has the cheek to show 'OOPS' in the display when this happens. I've also had ... ...seconds into the opener and the album jumps to the next track.
Usually I find that at around volume 2 (highest - 10) the loudness is sufficient. In terms of settings there are two levels of bass boost but I am able to pick out the low end without these. The supplied earphones are without volume controls, and are not particularly comfortable. Also the cord is fairly short in length but did last me a couple of years.
I'm under the impression the ...

Review of Philips EXP321
On paper the Phillips CD player is a quality product, looks good sounds good and is good value for money. It has a wide range of features and is suitable everyone who has a CD collection.
The player itself is a good looking player with a cool metal top making it feel expensive and valuable, the rest is made of plastic which unfortunately does feel cheap especially the buttons they feel so cheap and tacky and feel like they are going to pop off when ... ...OK, usually the sound is poor and somehow the player adds a monotonous whirr to your music. Im not done yet ! While listening to music if you decide to use the bass boost feature (DBB) the music will become distorted and boomy so that rules out that function.I have heard a variety of bleeps which seem to happen regular intervals when playing CDs and to top it all off the supplied headphones are useless cheap tacky and the sound quality is aweful ...
