Competent CD player Advantages: Does what it says on the tin - plays CDs - and has a good battery life Disadvantages: Shocking earphones; not very pretty. I actually bought this because it was on special offer, and not really because I liked the look of it very much - to be honest, the partly see-through off-white on the lid / grey round the sides / cream on the base is not really very attractive. Looks aside, it does what it says on the tin fairly well - it plays CDs with no problems and the shockproof function is very effective. Another handy feature is the battery monitor which shows you how much ... ...which are easy to put in.) Battery life is much better than in other models I have had, and you can save it by turning off the shockproof function for when you don't need it (for example, it plays without skipping if you're just walking along the road with it in a pocket). Volume also goes up to a good level. excellent little cd player Advantages: cheap, light Disadvantages: uncomfortable headphones this is one of the best portable cd players that i have ever bought and used. it plays clear music, the batteries last a long time and i also love the fact that you can play mp3 tracks on it and use cds that have been created on your pc. The headphones are a bit uncomfortable, but i found once taking the accessory off, and just leaving the actual headphone, made them a lot more comfortable. It was very cheap to buy new, i found that this was the ... ...also made by a trusted and well known brand. The anti-shock works very well, and as yet i have had no problems with it, which has been a problem on previous cd players that i have owned. Sony Atrac CD player Advantages: Plenty of songs on one CD Disadvantages: Not a hardrive mp3 player ...onto one CD with the Sony Atrac system which works well. The provided software does its job and is simple. It lets you chose the size of the song so that you can fit more onto a disc. However the program has one downfall, it doesn't let you save a playlist. This means that you can't just add albums and create a new disk when you want one. The conversion to Atrac from a CD or an mp3 can take a long time, as does wrinting the CD. 007 Is Now An Antique!!!!! Advantages: Reliable Disadvantages: Outdated My Experience Of Sony DNF 007 Here is a piece of social history the good old fashioned CD player and I still have it collecting dust in my cupboard upstairs, I have now moved on to the Ipod Nano but here I will tell you about my now extinct Sony DNF 007 what a good name 007 lol. I used to use it all the time on the way to work and especially when out running however when running it was not great even though it has a built in shock proof system ... ...My overall opinion of the Sony DNF 007 is that in it's time it was a great portable player but with the emergence of the MP3 player it has been shuffled to the bottom of the list bordering on extinction. Even at £25.00 it is not really great value for money as you can purchase a good quality MP3 player for less.
