Let me down when I most needed it!
Advantages: Straightforward, some good details, AM radio, low cost Disadvantages: Broke very quickly! Screwed tapes easily. Also on the large side.
I bought this for £3.99 in ASDA, a few days before going on a long train journey. I have had millions of Walkmans over the years - don't get me started on iPods and MP3 players and that, I've had all kinds of trouble with them! - so for this journey I just wanted a good, straightforward tape player and radio as I had a couple of tapes I wanted to listen to, and I didn't think radio receptio across the country would be good enough to rely on the radio ... ...cheerfully, I picked up this colourful, cheap and cheerful thing from said store, and took it home to investigate. Well, that didn't take long!
It plays tapes and it has an analogue AM/FM radio that one has to tune in oneself with the dial. You can't, accordingly, preset radio stations, and unless you're like me and compulsively familiar with the whereabouts of those you listen to, this could get really annoying. The actual player itself is extremely ...

-------------------Two in one------------------
Advantages: Nice shape and easy to use Disadvantages: Battery consumer, weighty
I was looking for a best Walkman. I check many but could not find a desired one. One day I saw WM-FX193 when I was in my friend's home I ask about it and he told me its qualities. Its look did not impress me because I wanted a dashing look. Well when I learn its qualities I could not change my mind and I was forced to buy it. Although I don't like its outlook but working wise it is best and it will be good if you say that it is 2 in 1 Walkman.
You ... ...not only cassette player but also it has a built in radio. It dimensions are 8.9 X 3.8 X 11.9 cm. I think it is the compact size for a Walkman, but I am not satisfied with its weight it is so much weighty that if it is in your pocket it can hang it or if it is hanging with your belt and you run it can be fall down. I mean to say that is weight is almost 250g. Keeping in view this thing I will recommend a digital MP3 player because of his light weight.

A Miraculous Little Music Machine
Advantages: This wonderful little device has excellent sound quality and is extremely easy and convenient. The memory buttons work incredibly well and the radio goes on and on with a single AA battery. Disadvantages: It is easy to forget to turn it off, otherwise, none.
...looking for more of these Panasonic radios to give as gifts and to have for myself. The radio/cassette player comes equipped with earphones, but the ear buds that are easily found and bought in any store are wonderful. Often I have this radio to help me get to sleep at night. The earpnoe jack is located right next to the volume control making it convenient to raise and lower the sound without having to turn on the light. I highly recommend them to ...

How sweet a Swan Song
Advantages: Fantastic sound quality for Cassette (see review) ,Record facillity, Battery or Mains operation, substantial build quality, direct drive mechanism, recording level meter and adjustment, excellent headphones supplied. Disadvantages: Discontinued in the UK, bulky and heavy by todays standards, needs (virtually) unobtainable 'Metal' tapes to get the best out of it.
...you only use the official Sony product for this-third party devices with the wrong polarity output or set at too high a voltage can wreck it). There are the usual PLAY, FAST FORWARD,REWIND, controls but also the welcome addition of a RECORD facillity. This Walkman also has full Logic control (instantly switches from PLAY to FFWD for example) , a Pitch Adjust (useful if you are playing tapes recorded on other machines), Recording Level Meters in the ... ...a couple of premium quality Sony Super Metal Master tapes I purchased from James Beattie Plc in Wolverhampton (£11.99 each!) and the reproduction was awesome-in fact it was impossible for me to tell that I wasn't listening to the CD's it was that good. I have played a fair number of different cassettes through it and granted the cheaper ferric tapes aren't so good they sound considerably better through this than most full size decks. The battery ...

It adjusts the volume automatically when the volume varies on the recordings to improve sound and give the listener comfort. There are two options with this, Normal or Limit.
