Initially, i figured it would be the same as the COBY or other cheap brand that I could find at the local electronics store. This brand is truly unique. In addition this bay lets the IPOD classic integrate as part of the unit and is flush so you can't tell. when you are not using the IPOD docking you can store the remote there.
