What Goodmans have done well with this DVD player is include a small credit size remote and battery pack. Many times you have seen a small portable DVD player with massive battery packs and accessories. It looks weird and wrong somehow. The only thing that I could say slightly off about this product is that it is a bit flimsy and 'could be prone to accidents'. Great price, great features Advantages: Sleakness, Battery Life, Disadvantages: Easy Dentable and Scratched case, ...films very well. Also, the Goodmans player is WIDESCREEN, which helps every DVD you play with this player retain a non-pixelated picture, and believe me, having WIDESCREEN is a MUST have feature when purchasing a portable DVD player! Easy to use menus, chapter selections are made a breeze with the slim controller provided with the player. The only negative is that to rewind/fast forward through a film, you must use the controller, due to there not ... ...there is only a skip chapter button. Also, the players silver outer case can be easily scratched/dented from even sitting on your lap! It comes with a hard case but it is not possible at all times to remember to use the player in the case. Cheap LCD DVD portable Advantages: Compact and convenient, comes with case remote and leads Disadvantages: short battery life long charge time ...at tesco for example, but Goodmans is a reasonable budget brand. The player looks quite smart but lacks any frills, it has very basic controls, but does seem to have a reasonable screen and playback picture compared with more expensive models. Everything you need is supplied with the unit including a handy carry case which converts into a seat craddle for use in the car (leads supplied). Good value if maybe not the best LCD player on the market., ... ...tin. The manual says that its also plays mp3 files from cd and jpeg disks, although I have not played with these features, Instructions do not linger on these topics.
