Hitatchi PDV 313 Portable DVD Player
Advantages: Compact, Excellent Display, Easy to Use Disadvantages: Speaker volume lacking slightly
I recieved this machine as a present.
I use it as often as I can when away from home, in preference to a TV.
Priced at around £100. I have found this machine to be delightful, I love it!
The PDV 313 is compact, lightweight and doesn't take up much
room.
I watch it fom the dasboard in a truck, so for caravan or motorhome use, it's well suited for this purpose and it won't take
up loads of space
I find the screen resolution is very good and ... ...on some DVD's, the sound volume can be lacking occasionally, although this is as much to do with the DVD you are playing as the DVD player.
This can be overcome by using headphones, for which the PDV313 supplies two headphone Jacks.
The battery pack is 7.2 volt / 3800mAh, I don't use it much, but when I have, it has coped easily with watching a DVD.I would estimate that the battery pack would last easily the length of a film, plus all the bonus ...

A Real Gem.
Advantages: Build quality and battery life. Disadvantages: Battery drains down quickly if left attached.
I have owned my Hitachi PDV302 portable DVD player for 15 months now and it is the best DVD player I have owned. The unit oozes class and the build quality is very good. After 15 months of abuse by my 2 children (now 10 & 3 years old), and several drops and manic button pressing by the youngest, it stills looks very well, and works faultlessly.
The unit features a detachable LI-Ion battery with a stated battery life of 150 minutes. In my experience ... ...it to a TV. The Hitachi can also accept analogue audio and composite video, and I have used this feature to watch TV in the garden by means of a video/audio sender that was attached to the video/audio in socket.
The remote control covers every feature of the player, and the player has a good set of buttons on the unit itself which covers the basic functions needed to watch movies.
All in all this is an excellent unit and I would recommend it highly. ...

I brought this for my 2 year kid and is really a good buy. my kid enjoys it really well.. its very handy and easy to carry, the only problem with it is the cd insert is a little delicate and should be carefull in handling.

Movies on the Move
Advantages: Excellent picture and sound quality, five hour battery life on one charge Disadvantages: No SD card slot
...researching, I decided on the Sony DVP-FX730W – which came in at £99.99 on Amazon and included a copy of the Disney film “Bolt”. As I had £95 in Amazon vouchers, I only had to stump up a fiver and the order was placed. Inside the Box * DVD player * “Bolt” DVD * Remote Control * Instruction Manual * Mains Charger Lead * Car Charger Lead * Audio/video leads to enable you to connect the DVD player to your TV. What’s It Like? The Sony DVP-FX730 ... ...increase significantly. The Sony DVP-FX730 has a massive five hours battery life, which is absolutely perfect for train journeys to London or for medium haul flights. This was the clincher for me when factoring in the pluses and minuses of various players and making my final decision. The first thing that I noticed when I removed the player from its box was how light this was in comparison to the old Shinco player. The player itself isn’t particularly ...

The Almost Indestructable Portable DVD Player!
Advantages: Excellent picture and sound, overall this was brilliant Disadvantages: None
Packaging This came in a mainly red coloured cardboard box. It had sliver and white colours on it as well. The white colouring is used for the writing that you will see on either side, on the back and on the front as well. The silver is used in a horizontal line, the whole way around the rim of the lid and this goes completely around the box. The box is of medium size and has a handy little part at the top (you pull this out in order to open ... ...of the portable dvd player and the tiny remote that is provided with it. The box is very nice and well presented. I especially like the part on the lid to open and close it with. Because when you open "some boxes." You literally have to wreck them to get into them and then you are left with a demolished box. One that you want to throw in the bin! With things such as this dvd player and other electrical equipment. You cant really afford for that to ...
