Advantages: Cheap, small, light and uses Compact Flash. Super easy to use with Window Media Player.
Disadvantages: Uses standard AA batteries rather than rechargable. Uses up batteries quickly when connected on USB. Does not support all Compact Flash cards.

I love my ipod shuffle. I do have an ipod nano as well, but I find that i'm using the shuffle more and more over the nano. Firstly I find that the size and design of the shuffle (clip feature) is far more useful than the nano, it means you don't have to worry about having a pocket to put it in and is particularly useful for situations like the gym. ...it needs recharging. I paid £22 for mine off bigpockets when they were selling all the old models off cheaper which is no doubt an absolute bargain. I also feel that the sound quality is as good as all the other Ipod types. The choice of colours is also good so you can pick one to suit your style.
