I love my ipod shuffle. I do have an ipod nano as well, but I find that i'm using the shuffle more and more over the nano. Firstly I find that the size and design of the shuffle (clip feature) is far more useful than the nano, it means you don't have to worry about having a pocket to put it in and is particularly useful for situations like the gym. ...it needs recharging. I paid £22 for mine off bigpockets when they were selling all the old models off cheaper which is no doubt an absolute bargain. I also feel that the sound quality is as good as all the other Ipod types. The choice of colours is also good so you can pick one to suit your style. The thing with the shuffle is you obviously don't know what song is going to come next, so I make sure that I only put my favourite songs on it in groups ... Read review

Got the Sony NWZ-A829 a couple of days ago as a present. Up to now I've just had a cheap 2gb MP3 player. I wanted a player with a large memory capacity but didn't want an iPod. The machine is very sleek, less than a centimetre wide and looks very stylish, in shiny black. As an extra I bought the silicone case which came with a free screen protector as I was worried that it'd get scratched. I'd pleased that I did. Although given the player cost £165 ...
...I didn't use the Sony software that came with the machine to load the music, I either used Windows Media player 11 or simply cut and paste from my hard drive to the player via the computer. This was easier enough to do. I'd read some reviews regarding Sony dropping some features from previous models, on-the fly playlists, ratings, ability to delete from the player and I have to agree that this is very annoying. The ITouch is a great move forward for Apply with their Ipod range. I bought the 8GB version (Having owned a Nano & Mini) which I find is plenty for my music and videos. I currently have 1,000 songs and 4 full length movies and space for some photos. I do recommend getting some software to convert your DVDs to MP4 format. I wouldn't bother buying them on ITunes when you can do your own for free. The ITouch is pretty good for Wireless web access ... Read review
