Advantages: The small size is its huge advantage - also records audio.
Disadvantages: Buttons a bit small, navigation is not entirely easy. Moisture Sensitive.

I bought one of these as I'm no big fan of Mac products and I wanted something super tiny. This certainly fits the bill for tiny. First off this is a niche market device - if you want 200 hours of music to travel around the country with, this isn't for you. Got this about 2 weeks ago just before going on holiday and it has been fantastic! The screen on it is very good quality and the picture can be turn horizontally so you can show a widescreen picture larger.Even when it was quite bright it was quite clear. I love my ipod shuffle. I do have an ipod nano as well, but I find that i'm using the shuffle more and more over the nano. Firstly I find that the size and design of the shuffle (clip feature) is far more useful than the nano, it means you don't have to worry about having a pocket to put it in and is particularly useful for situations like the gym. I also feel that the sound quality is as good as all the other Ipod types. The choice of colours is also good so you can pick one to suit your style.
