great little mp3
Review of Philips SA2110 1 GB by
techno_man_37
Advantages: price, looks, battery life!!
Disadvantages: if people dont use it : (
...netto of mp3 players, so Philips was defiantly a sensible choice.
Another tipping point of purchase, was that this has 1gb of memory, this is really quite good as most of these little mp3 players only have 512 and some just 128mb of space, so 1gb defiantly sounded good.
The design of this is quite a compact little oval shaped device. Its body is silver and white, with a black section around the screen. The screen is small, however easy to read ... ...At the end of one side, the lid comes off so that this can plug directly into a computers USB port, its so easy to put songs onto, however I don't think my mum did ever manage it because when I recently checked what was on there, it was the exact same songs I had put on it for her in the first place.
The best thing about this must be its battery life, a massive 10 hours actually. So this could easily last you quite a few days as you probably wont ...

My little travel buddy
Review of Philips SA3124 2 GB by
welshgal17
Advantages: small, easy to use, large memory
Disadvantages: sometimes slow to respond
My Philips has become my little travel buddy, accompanying me on many of my home to university jaunts from Cardiff to Swansea and vice versa. Its so small and light and is always slipped into my bag for all my journeys, whether to block out screaming kids on the bus or to fill the quietness! (which isn't very often!)
My parents bought me this little mp3 as I needed a replacement for my broken Japanese imported one, and as an iPod was out of my price ... ...this one, and the 2GB was on offer in Argos for £60 this was the one we went for, although with any item that's on special offer I am always a little wary of the quality.
But there was no need to be wary, this thing is a little gem!
So its features:
Music
-------
Well being the main object of an mp3 player, I'd expect this to be on here! The 2GB memory enables the mp3 to hold over about 600 songs! The music menu gives you the option of playing ...

HinesM8534
Advantages: Small, sleek and cool looking.
Disadvantages: Tends to freeze a lot without the latest firmware upgrade.
...checked on the on the philips website and they had a firmware upgrade available. It was quick and easy to download and upgrade my player, and afwards it's worked like a charm, not a single problem with it.
I havent really used any of the other features like the picture viewer or sound recorder, but as a stand alone MP3 player I find this to be an excellent little device. I would deffinatly recommend this player to anyone who is looking for a simple, ...

Philips HDD1635
Review of Philips GoGear HDD6320 30 GB by
Bigmancat
Advantages: small, holds a ton of music
Disadvantages: just does not work as advertised
I have a Philips HDD1635, it is a total peice of SHIT! I will NEVER buy another product from them. Plays for sure........that is why I bought it, I thought I could easily download all my music from media player to it. How wrong was I? Error messages that solutions could not be found, calling their help desk was a joke. I have finished a pc repair course and am very computer savvy. This product plain and simple does NOT work as they claim. It is total ... ...songs, if you can transfer them on to it. It is very small and the controls are nice but a little to sensitive for my taste. I would never recommend this product to anyone. My wife has an Ipod Nano and uses ITunes, never had a problem with it. ...
