When Sony first introduced the minidisc system, they must have expected it to take over from the CD as the principle audio media. However, many artists were slow to take up the oppurtunity to record on minidisc, probably due to the cost and the undeniable fact that some sound quality is lost. Quicksilver Advantages: Features, size, weight, battery life, Backlit LCD remote, NET MD Disadvantages: The earphones that come with it I could go on and on about how great this NET MD is, but I won't, as it would take me ages. I have had it for 6 months, trouble free, and is my second MD Recorder/Player. NET MD This means that you can connect this MiniDisc recorder to a PC and download music onto it 64times faster than recording it with an optical connection. However it does not mean you can transfer music from it onto PCs. slim n simple Advantages: slim Disadvantages: stand The unit is very silm and simple with easy to use buttons and a very simple remote as long as you have small fingers! The battery life is excellent and even better with the extra case fitted but this is ugly and annoying. The sound quality is good but detierates in LP4 but this happens with all md players.
