Fantastic Value For A Fantastic Product!
Advantages: Looks great, sounds great, simple to use, long battery life Disadvantages: The software is a bit of a pain
I actually purchased this product a good two or three years ago. It was a birthday present but one chosen by myself. I already had a personal cassette player (which, incidentally, I loved) and a personal CD player (which was alright). I didn't really want to progress up the "Walkman ladder" because I was more than happy with my cassette player, but peer pressure meant I eventually gave in and did so!
I didn't really want to find one I liked: well, ... ...that it was the best thing since sliced bread. Soooo, I went shopping for one, and came across this little gem in one of the showcase cabinets. I fell in love with it straight away, which I didn't really want to do because I was so trapped in the past! I just couldn't resist buying it... I had a choice between blue and silver and, as a Coventry City fan, I had to go for the former.
I cannot remember how much I paid for it, but you can get one for ...

I love my MD player
Advantages: Great sound quality Disadvantages: Battery life is a bit limited
Looks
This is an attactive MD. It has the screen at a jaunty 45 degree angle, which I find pleasing, and the buttons are all easy to use. It comes with a remote control, which is also useful, and has it's own screen, so you can still see the track titles etc when the main player is in a case.
Cost
I was given this MD as a present a year ago, but I believe they are currently about £60. I think this is great value for money, as you get a good range ... ...with software (PC and MAC compatible) to put downloads onto mini discs, which is especially helpful, and can also be used as a medium to play music on your computer. I find the software itself easy to use when I am recording and transfering things. You can use it to record from CDs as well as from downloads, and it is pretty quick. It makes naming tracks a lot less fiddly as you canjust type all the information in on the computer rather than using ...

compact and stylish
Advantages: compact and easy to use Disadvantages: none that I have found
The design of this personal mini-disc is fantastic. It is compact and very easy to use and it looks great as well. I had never used a mini disc before and although the instruction manual wasn't hugely detailed it really didn't matter, it took me no time at all to get used to the different features.
This mini disc will record 4 CD's on to 1 Mini Disc which is 320 minutes of music. I personally have used my mini disc for recording many of the classical ... ...quality of sound on the recording. The recording quality was so good it recorded our demo CD. The record feature is very simple to use and placing the track markers could not be easier. There are various track playback modes so you don't have to listen to your music in track order. When you are using a microphone to record with there are settings to change the sensitivity for if you are close to or far away from what you are recording.
To sum up ...
