1GB iPocket
Advantages: Slim and Slick Disadvantages: size of earphone jack
...worth having.
--Earphones--
This inovix iPocket comes with a good pair or earphones however they are 2.5mm and not the standard 3.5mm. This can be annoying as I could not use my old headphones.
Lastly this player also comes with a small built in microphone, which can be used to record your voice and other sounds. ...

ipocket 512MB iitronics
Advantages: good design, easy to use, good value Disadvantages: 1.5mm earphones, memory ok
I bought this product over a year ago and it still is working for me.
There is not alot of memory as you would expect from a 512MB but I find it ok for someone who is looking for a affordable, relaible and easy to use mp3. I have some photos on mine but no videos as im currently using 84% of my memory.
Its light and small, but have had problems finding a new pair of 1.5mm earphones as mine recently broke but they had last a year!
Mine doesn't ... ...so check carefully if thats a feature you are looking for.
Battery life is ok and the in-built mic is a great feature for recording songs of c.d's etc. to save you downloading them + the recording quality is good too.
A problem I had with this product + also a freind of mine had who bought the 1GB was that when the mps was charging or playing a small scratch appeared on the screen, maybe due to over heating? but it didnt effect the mp3 working ...

ipod nano ; the clear winner
Advantages: good quality music player Disadvantages: battery life
i got bought this ipod for my birthday , i reckon and it's one of the best things i've ever been bought! i got bought the 8gb , which was enough room to get over 1000 songs and from my point of view , was enough to fit all my songs in i think that the battery life may not be that good , as you have to charge is ever 2 days but if you turn the settings down , like the brightness and black light you wont have to charge as much from my point of view ...

Great device when youīre on the move!
Advantages: Good screen, large storage space, nice case Disadvantages: Menus slow to navigate
...this to replace my old vosonic VP6230 drive, as the battery life was getting poor and it only had an 80GB hard drive. The VP8860 takes up to a 500GB drive, which is what mine is fitted with. Compared to my old drive, the screen is fantastic - 4.3 inches. Itīs got a larger range of functions, though I canīt say that I find it very easy to navigate the menus. It weighs around 450g. The driveīs main function is to backup and store files and photos. ... ...a SD/MMC card slot. The system for doing this is fairly straightforward - a prompt comes up when you put the card in, asking you whether you want to back-up or not, and cards are then backed up to the backup folder. The drive can also be connected to a computer via USB. I found this drive considerably quicker at backing up my SD cards than the older drive, and copying files to and from a computer hard drive is also fairly quick. It slows down a lot ...

The best yet
Advantages: Simple and easy to use, well designed, small and lightweight, excellent sound quality Disadvantages: None
I already own an Apple Ipod (classic version with a high capacity) and love having my high capacity Ipod but was looking into getting something smaller and lighter for if I am going out to exercise or if I am travelling to meet mates for a night out as I love to listen to music on my way to these nights out but also want a player which I can put in a pocket and not have to worry about weighing me down or being too obvious to others so I picked up ... ...trip up to my nearest Apple store. After purchasing the player the first thing I was struck with was the sleek design which makes this a very small player and extremely lightweight. The player like all of the Apple Ipods feels very well made and once you charge the player up and switch this on you see the quality in the player through the fanstastic screen which shows brilliantly bright and clear information making th menus easier than ever. The ...
