Sony MP3 NWZS638 FS Good, Reliable and Ordinary

Advantages: Great sounding MP3 player with lots of battery life
Disadvantages: You may find it a little expensive if you are not going to use all its features

I was looking for an MP3 player suitable for use whilst out running. Not wanting to become one of the IPOD generation, I looked at a number of alternatives. A definite iPod alternative and beater in my opinion.

Advantages: Sound quality, price, ease of use the list goes on.
Disadvantages: Sony Walkman's need to have a wider support of accessories, both Sony branded and also third party

The Sony A818 is an excellent device with only 1/2 minor faults

Advantages: Excellent sound quality, great headphones, cheap, impressive battery life.
Disadvantages: No podcasts or on-the-go playlists

Fantastic Buy

Advantages: Clear useful display, good quality, good battery life, all of it really
Disadvantages: If we're being picky, my earphones didn't last very long

I bought this 8 Gig model a couple of years ago to replace an old 1Gig model with the 3 line screen. It had been fantastic and i still use it with a HiFi, but eventurly i needed more space.
