The Ipod docking unit is less impressive - I just can't seem to get a big sound from it - no matter how much I tweak with the audio settings - it just sounds weak and a little tinny. Its loud, its quiet, its light, its dark. The Gear 4 Houseparty 24/7 is an excellent speaker system for your ipod, or any other mp3 or walkman system.
