Advantages: no fiddling to get top post-it note off Disadvantages: unaware how many post-it notes are left

I've tried probably most that the stationery catalogues used by work have to offer. The little teeny ones (about an inch in size) are no good for anything more than writing two or three letters on, the large ones (these are about 2" x 3" in size) are just a bit TOO big and unless you're writing an essay not very economical. Knowing how many post-it notes I go through in a day/week/month/year I thought this was a justifiable expense (and of course it would look pretty on my desk).
The order was approved, placed and I waited for the stationery delivery. A day or so later I was presented with my little box. Ooooh, it was like my birthday! lol

The little teeny ones (about an inch in size) are no good for anything more than writing two or three letters on, the large ones (these are about 2" x 3" in size) are just a bit TOO big and unless you're writing an essay not very economical. I've even tried the circular ones - these were bought for me as a gift (see how easily pleased I am!). The middling size (about 2" square) are the favoured amongs me and my colleagues.
When the end of year budget was nearing and the boss said "there's a few coppers left in the budget if you'd like to have something small for your desk" I was excited to say the least.
I had a flick through the pages of the stationery catalogue - for those of you who don't work in an office environment you're probably not sensing my 'real' excitement at this. I could have gone for some pens, or a new magnetic paperclip holder but what caught my eye was the z-notes and dispenser.
Knowing how many post-it notes I go through in a day/week/month/year I thought this was a justifiable expense (and of course it would look pretty on my desk).
The order was approved, placed and I waited for the stationery delivery. A day or so later I was presented with my little box. Ooooh, it was like my birthday! lol
I opened the box and inside was my blue and silver z-note dispenser. It was quite heavy and DID look good. There was also a single pack of z-note post-it notes to go with it.
It measures approximately 10cm x 12 cm and is approx. 4cm high. There is an obvious oblong whole in the top where the post-it notes are dispensed from.
The top of the dispenser is blue and half of it slides off so that you can get your post-it notes inside. This was very easy to do and didn't take more than a few seconds. The post-it notes are placed in the centre with the top one sticking out through the hole that's in the top. I slid the lid back on and away I went!
It did eveything I expected from it. It dispensed my post-it notes without me having to fiddle to make sure I only took one from the top and not two or more. I could even do it one-handed whilst on the telephone :)
The only thing I can say that I'm disappointed with is the fact that I can happily be using my post-it notes when they'll run out. BUT then I get to pick a whole new colour to use and start up right again.
A perfect piece of desk equipment. Also, your colleagues or husband or children aren't likely to 'borrow' your post-it's because it would be a little more difficult for them to take the whole thing and then suggest that it was theirs all along.....
All in all I'm very pleased with my post-it z-notes and dispenser. Every desk should have one!
Advantages: They're the best buy memory joggers Disadvantages: None - though more expensive than other self-stick notes available
: Orange, Pink and Lilac
SPEECH BUBBLE: Neon Yellow, Yellow and Pale Lilac
Because of the fun design of these notes, I would tend not to use them for important documents. They are probably more suitable for home use where you can leave notes to yourself or notes to your partner - preferably on the iron with the words "This is an iron" written on it.
