Problems with Post Office... |

I took out a Post Office Travel Money Card in June for a trip to New York. When I got back, I had £1,500 remaining on the card so called to cancel the card and organise the balance to be refunded to me. Was told that a cheque would be sent to me in the next ten to 14 days. Two weeks later, nothing had arrived so called them back up.
Was told that the cancellation hadn't been completed properly due to an error on their part and that a cheque would arrive in next ten to 14 days. Asked a supervisor if they could do this more quickly, seeing as the error was their fault and it was lot of money to be owed to me. Was assured that they would do this and they would call me to update me on the status. Two weeks have elapsed since, no call and still no cheque. Because the card has been finally cancelled I'm unable to get through to their call centre. Have emailed twice (the only form of communication now open to me) and had no replies. As you can imagine, this is very frustrating and very worrying.Avoid this product.
