'An excellent boiler which gives very little trouble if installed correctly. If it does go wrong there is a plentiful supply of spare parts. As they are comparatively quite simple to fit, the Suprima can be repaired successfully by even the most inexperienced of engineers, so a quick repair is very likely, no matter whoever you get to repair. Being quite small, this boiler can fit into a regular kitchen cupboard and so makes it an ideal boiler if you need to fit in a kitchen or other confined space.'
I've had a lot of experience with these boilers since I wrote that. Let's consider the previous paragraph.
'An excellent boiler which gives very little trouble if installed correctly'
Hmmmm, did I really say that? The major problem is the circuit board, which will fail eventually.
'If it does go wrong there is a plentiful supply of spare parts.'
True. Just as well really.
'As they are comparatively quite simple to fit, the Suprima can be repaired successfully by even the most inexperienced of engineers, so a quick repair is very likely, no matter whoever you get to repair.'
Oooops, how embarressing! As I've seen on some of those 'Rogue Trader' type programmes, this is obviously not the case. Sorry.

At least I got that right. Just goes to show, you can't beat experience. Please accept my unreserved apologies!

'If it does go wrong there is a plentiful supply of spare parts.'
as regards these spare parts. The problem with Potterton is poor
production and quality control.
Are these spare parts just as likely to fail again, after a minimum time. ?
By the way, Potterton deny any problems, I spent a
long time on the phone to them 08706-060780.
A spokesperson said, they don't know of any
adnormal quality problem with their Suprima 120 line.
And hung up on me after being pushed.
You need a Corgi number before they will talk to you.
or just say your ringing from The Republic of Ireland.
This is a case for Watch-Dog.
Potterton are a shabby outfit, who should be taken to book.

Even with the diagnostic equipment I fancy the whole pcb would still have to be replaced, I know they have had known faults in them, which have led to many of them having to be replace by a pcb with different components. This aside, I have had very few problems with the boilers as a whole.
