Getting dirty in the garden. Well those that know m well I like to get naturally and organically dirty in the garden. I quite often do it in the greenhouse. To get dirty in the garden I use J Arthur Bowers organic general compost. I do not like getting dirty with peat. A peat bog is a wetland area that has poor drainage. Sphagnum moss grows on this wet area and then decays, new layers of moss growing and decaying slowly over time. Peat bogs can get to many metres deep of rich soil.
