DURACELL!! BRILLIANCE!!! Advantages: Long lasting Disadvantages: None at all! ...pack of these four AA Duracell Long Lasting Power batteries from Asda, and they set me back £2.85. I thought that this was a reasonable prce for batteries that will work many appliances around the home. The most I have seen these batteries for is around £3.60. I do think I got a deal for these four batteries. I have seen batteries from other manufacturers, and supermarket's own brands. I think that Duracell are a good brand and I have noticed that ... ...my digital camera, but the duracell batteries last me a few days. In the cardboard pack are four average sized AA batteries. They are cylinder shape of course, and fit nicely in this little pack. They do not take up too much space in a bag or pocket, so would be fine to carry in a bag without trouble. Again, Again, Again and Again for this Green Duracell Advantages: High capacity, very reliable Disadvantages: Capacity a little short of that advertised, plastic battery cover eventually fails ...charge a brand new battery. Duracell on their packaging only specify this forming charge. And the Duracells? They are well presented, and look to be well constructed. In short they have a quality feel. Instructions on use are more than adequate. Note that they only specify the forming charge, and not the higher charging rates typical of most battery chargers. The batteries are marked as being 2650 mAh batteries. What you need to bear in mind ... ...I have a charger that is able to deliver a forming charge - it's a long and slow process. My Duracells achieved around 2580 after a forming charge. A tad shy of the advertised capacity. They have been in use now for nearly 12 months, have been recharged on a weekly basis and are essentially trouble free. 2 weeks ago I tested the batteries and capacity had fallen to 2450 mAh, which I feel is pretty good for powering a high power drain device. USB Power-ed up Adapter Advantages: Compact and Portability Disadvantages: Price ...power adapter comes also with Apple One Year Limited Warranty and is explained on a leaflet in 7 different languages. However, the price for this power adapter is not so agreeable. It’s around 17 pounds but I think could be bought around 10 pounds. I am sure that eBay and amazon sells it for less than 17 pounds. Super Sony charger Advantages: Fast Charge, Auto CutOff Disadvantages: Only takes AA/AAA ...looking around I found the Sony High Capacity Super Quick Charger For AA And AAA Batteries and for £16.99 with four AA batteries included it seemed like a good deal, almost all of our electrical items seem to be Sony so with it being a brand we trusted I bought it. The charger itself is fairly compact measuring 4" x 2½" x 1" (not including the power lead) it won't take up a lot of room, the power lead is also removable so you can store it away quite ... ...other Sony leads we have so if it gets misplaced we can use another one if needs be, although we tend not to take the lead off of it so this shouldn't be a problem. Brilliant batteries with long length life Advantages: good value, long lasting, reliable Disadvantages: they're not rechargable ...time. I have to say Duracell AA MX1500 batteries are perfect for the job. With most normal cheap batteries I would be able to take around one or two pictures before the camera switched itself off due to lack of power. But with this I can have at least 3-4 hours of constant picture taking. With a lot of special deals on these batteries you can normally buy 2 for 1 or get an extra 4 in the pack and you're still only paying around £2.99-£3.49.
