Review of Uniross X-Press Mini Nickel Metal Hydride by
mehmoou101
Advantages: easy to use-very reliable-
Disadvantages: not enough extra gadgets-
...of my eye was the Uniross X-Press Mini charger, I could not afford to but it then because i had blown away all my money on gifts for my family. Luckily i had the money to buy it three weeks later and all of my rechargeable batteries have been happy ever since the purchase.
Ease of use:
it is very easy too use because all you need to do is, put the rechargeable batteries in to the charger and put the charger into a switched on plug/socket. There ... ...such as a car charger so your batteries will always be powered whenever you go out and a standard plug adapter would do good too.
This part is going to receive a 7/10 because more features could have been added to make this a more better recharger and more valuable to you and your family moments.
Ease of use=7/10
Reliability:
It is very reliable because it will always charge when needed and is very resistant to lots of damage i.e (for example) ...

You get what you pay for
Review of Seasonic S12-500 - power supply - 500 Watt by
DAkuma
Advantages: Rock solid, with plenty of output cables
Disadvantages: None that I noticed
I have done a lot of research into power supplies while building a PC from scratch. I have discovered that there are certain things you need to look for, such as 2 fans: 1 at the rear, to exhaust hot air, and a large (the larger the better) fan on the inside, to drag that hot air from your case more easily. I have also found that you should avoid fanless ones at all costs... Not only do they pose a reliability problem, they also do nothing to aid ... ...case. You may have a case which has lots of air vents, but you can also use more, and this powerpack has very low noise fans. Also, since heat rises (and the majority of of power supplies are located at the top of the case) then exhausting the hot air is even more crucial. Another reason to avoid fanless PSU's: In some cases they have been known to catch fire!
Anyway, to cut a long story short, I found this one to be recomended by experts in low ...

Don't waste your money
Review of Freeloader Portable Solar Energy Charger by
Marcindy
Advantages: None for me!
Disadvantages: Doesn't work.
Huge disapointment is the only thing I can say about this product. I charged it via my computer usb to start with and then took off to the south of france in the middle of summer. You would think that 8 hours in direct sunlight would do the trick but no! That gave me enough charge to add one battery bar on my phone at a time and it didn't work at all with my ipod or PDA, despite having the right connections. It connected fine and turned my ipod on ...

Uniross 1 Hour AA and AAA battery charger
Review of Uniross Sprint 1h Nickel Metal Hydride by
surreydodger
Advantages: Easy to use with built in intelligent system
Disadvantages: Odd exterior design
Having had a previous Uniross charger for several years which had provided a stirling service until it was dropped and broken, I wanted to stay with a manufacturer I knew and felt comfortable with. After hunting down several models I narrowed it down to this 1 hour charger (model no. AAB04541-3) which charges both AA and AAA batteries, either two or four at a tiime.
It will also charge either Ni-MH or Ni-Cd batteries.
It comes with a mains plug ... ...cigar lighter socket. The Uniross 1 Hr Charger also has a built in intelligent charger system to save over loading the batteries which is a useful feature when one may tend to walk off and forget you have left some batteries charging.
The 1 hour charging time is a little subjective depending on what power batteries you are charging up. If you charged four 2,700mah (milli-amp hours) AA batteries you would be closer to two hour charging time but for ...

Quality design at a cost
Review of Apple MagSafe power adapter - 85 Watt by
sharky05
Advantages: Looks good, extremely clever and useful concept, extension adaptor
Disadvantages: expensive
The design of this is of very high quality, and it's an extremely clever concept - instead of tripping over your laptop power cable and damaging yourself, the cable or the laptop, the magnetic connection used on this adaptor means the cable will just pop out with no harm done. (NB this only works on newer mac laptops).
However, design comes at a cost and this is not cheap - up to twice cost of another laptop manufacturer's adaptor, so make sure ...
