Quality design at a cost

Advantages: Looks good, extremely clever and useful concept, extension adaptor
Disadvantages: expensive

The design of this is of very high quality, and it's an extremely clever concept - instead of tripping over your laptop power cable and damaging yourself, the cable or the laptop, the magnetic connection used on this adaptor means the cable will just pop out with no harm done. Advantages: High quality, last a good long time... and look quite nice too!
Disadvantages: A little bit more expensive than some brands

I tend to choose Duracell batteries when I'm looking for AA alkalines, simply because they give me peace of mind: they're reliable, they do the job and they last a good long time.
