USB Power-ed up Adapter
Advantages: Compact and Portability Disadvantages: Price
...power adapter comes also with Apple One Year Limited Warranty and is explained on a leaflet in 7 different languages. However, the price for this power adapter is not so agreeable. It’s around 17 pounds but I think could be bought around 10 pounds. I am sure that eBay and amazon sells it for less than 17 pounds. Compatible with:
iPhone
iPod shuffle
iPod nano
iPod with colour display
iPod with video
iPod classic
iPod touch
In conclusion, the ...

Quality design at a cost
Advantages: Looks good, extremely clever and useful concept, extension adaptor Disadvantages: expensive
The design of this is of very high quality, and it's an extremely clever concept - instead of tripping over your laptop power cable and damaging yourself, the cable or the laptop, the magnetic connection used on this adaptor means the cable will just pop out with no harm done. (NB this only works on newer mac laptops).
However, design comes at a cost and this is not cheap - up to twice cost of another laptop manufacturer's adaptor, so make sure ...

Power to the people (well, to the camera)
Advantages: Save batteries Disadvantages: A bit costly
...batteries. They suggested getting a power adaptor to use when transferring images instead of using batteries.
So, like a good boy (man, I am 18 and have the parts to prove it) I listened to what they said and invested in a power adaptor. A Nikon Coolpix adaptor that is for use in the Nikon Coolpix 700/800/900/950 digital cameras.
The adaptor set me back thirty-nine quid. However I quickly recuperated the cost of these from the number of batteries ... ...have to remember to do is take out the batteries from the camera. Then plug the adaptor in and Bob's your uncle (or maybe your auntie after a sex change). Anyhow, the camera works the same; you can take pictures etc using the adaptor instead of batteries.
When I transfer my pictures to my computer, I can take my time, because I am not worrying about how much battery I am using (instead, how much electricity from the mains I am using!).
The adaptor ...

Power up!!!
Advantages: Easy to use, quick, does the job, reliable Disadvantages: Overcharging is bad, does not automatically stop charging once full
...the road charger.
The Uniross Encore Classic Charger is a fast charger that takes around 3 hours to fully charge four batteries. This can be a mix of AA or AAA batteries, as the device allows for both to be put into each of the four slots at the front. It has a switch in case you only want 2 batteries to be charged, and you can do this easily as well.
Charging is incredibly simple. It comes with an adapter, so you plug it in, put it down on the ... ...on. This indicates it's charging, and once it turns red, it means that the batteries are fully charged. It's a shame there isn't an automatic shut off at this point, as it is quite easy to stick the batteries on charge and then forget about them. If you do this, then the batteries can overheat, damaging them and being dangerous if left too long. Just remember you have to use rechargeable batteries only! If you try to recharge regular batteries, it ...

Duracell? Dura-buy!
Advantages: High quality, last a good long time... and look quite nice too! Disadvantages: A little bit more expensive than some brands
I tend to choose Duracell batteries when I'm looking for AA alkalines, simply because they give me peace of mind: they're reliable, they do the job and they last a good long time. These days I generally buy Duracell Plus, and when the four-packs are available at a good price - I've occasionally seen them for as low as £2, though that's not at all common, and £3-4 is more likely - I will usually snap them up pretty fast. ... It's only fair to first ... ...use NiMH rechargeables - thankfully Duracell make those as well! ... However, for those items that are slightly less hard on power, it's hard to beat the Duracell Plus batteries. I use them all the time in my MP3 player, and am very satisfied with their endurance. I also use them in clocks, TV remote controls, my weather station, calculators and radios, so as you can see I've invested quite heavily in the things over the years. Unless they suddenly ...
