Very fast charging - 90mins from flat
Advantages: Fast charging Disadvantages: None
...This charger came with my Canon 300d Digital SLR camera, and is an excellent bit of kit. It is small and compact, weighing in at around only 100g and being about 4"x3"x1" , it is easy to pack when you go on holiday too
This charger has an approximate charge time of 2-6 hours, now I personally think it is much less than that,, I would say it charges a completely flat battery (to the point where my camera actually turns itself off from no charge) ... ...charge until it's full. This canon charger can charge either the BP-511 / BP-512 lithium ion batteries.
The charger can be used anywhere in the world, just get a plug adapter and away you go, as the input voltage can vary.
The most useful part of this charger is that it has flashing lights to indicate the present state of the charge.
1 flash- Very low battery
2 flashes - 50% power
3 flashes - 75% power
Solid - Fully charged.
The charger is ...

Good way
Advantages: Strong Disadvantages: Batteries don't last as long as I expected
This battery recharger is the best I've had so far. I bought the pack with the batteries and the charger and these batteries seem to last much longer (I use them for my camera and they last for weeks, when the previous ones I had would not last for longer than 10 days).
I have used different batteries than Cannon and it doesn't make much difference campared to the previous charger I had. This makes me think the rechargable Cannon batteries are much ... ...just makes its job normally (helping good quality batteries to last almost as long as they potentionally can). I said almost because they seem to take a bit longer, after a few months, to get fully charged. Anyway, they are much better than the Duracell ones I used to have.
After a few months the charger is still working properly. It's conservative design does not take any of it's best properties. Its easy to hide and light to carry with you.
The ...

Power up!!!
Advantages: Easy to use, quick, does the job, reliable Disadvantages: Overcharging is bad, does not automatically stop charging once full
...the road charger.
The Uniross Encore Classic Charger is a fast charger that takes around 3 hours to fully charge four batteries. This can be a mix of AA or AAA batteries, as the device allows for both to be put into each of the four slots at the front. It has a switch in case you only want 2 batteries to be charged, and you can do this easily as well.
Charging is incredibly simple. It comes with an adapter, so you plug it in, put it down on the ... ...on. This indicates it's charging, and once it turns red, it means that the batteries are fully charged. It's a shame there isn't an automatic shut off at this point, as it is quite easy to stick the batteries on charge and then forget about them. If you do this, then the batteries can overheat, damaging them and being dangerous if left too long. Just remember you have to use rechargeable batteries only! If you try to recharge regular batteries, it ...

Duracell? Dura-buy!
Advantages: High quality, last a good long time... and look quite nice too! Disadvantages: A little bit more expensive than some brands
I tend to choose Duracell batteries when I'm looking for AA alkalines, simply because they give me peace of mind: they're reliable, they do the job and they last a good long time. These days I generally buy Duracell Plus, and when the four-packs are available at a good price - I've occasionally seen them for as low as £2, though that's not at all common, and £3-4 is more likely - I will usually snap them up pretty fast. ... It's only fair to first ... ...use NiMH rechargeables - thankfully Duracell make those as well! ... However, for those items that are slightly less hard on power, it's hard to beat the Duracell Plus batteries. I use them all the time in my MP3 player, and am very satisfied with their endurance. I also use them in clocks, TV remote controls, my weather station, calculators and radios, so as you can see I've invested quite heavily in the things over the years. Unless they suddenly ...

Super Sony charger
Advantages: Fast Charge, Auto CutOff Disadvantages: Only takes AA/AAA
...looking around I found the Sony High Capacity Super Quick Charger For AA And AAA Batteries and for £16.99 with four AA batteries included it seemed like a good deal, almost all of our electrical items seem to be Sony so with it being a brand we trusted I bought it.
The charger itself is fairly compact measuring 4" x 2½" x 1" (not including the power lead) it won't take up a lot of room, the power lead is also removable so you can store it away quite ... ...other Sony leads we have so if it gets misplaced we can use another one if needs be, although we tend not to take the lead off of it so this shouldn't be a problem.
One of the reasons I was attracted to this charger was that the charge time for completely flat batteries is just 4½ hours. I remember when my parents first bought a battery charger years ago and it used to take what felt like forever to charge the batteries, not what you need when you've ...
