Advantages: Light Weight, Professional Grade, Easy To Use Disadvantages: Not Lethium Ion, so charging times are alittle longer.
In my opinion one of the best combi drill i have used. I am a certified electrician and i use it for all types of work i carry out. It's nice and compact (compared to other 18V drills) which is a plus when is comes to getting in really tight places. I would recommend it to anyone. I have tried a lot of drills in my career, by all means this one has beat them all. Anyone out there tired of spending money on expensive drills, just to hassle with instructions ...
Advantages: Easy to use, several 'power' options for various 'jobs' and good battery time Disadvantages: none for the price.

As I said earlier this is one of many cordless drills I have in my workshop, (why one person needs so many even I don’t know so please don’t ask, ... ...on the shelf), but this Bosch has lasted me quite some time and has never failed me one little bit in all the abuse I have given it.
Although this drill is a nice tool to have at your side, giving you the capabilities of drilling through many materials, it is the actual drill bits which do a lot of the work for you, but having the right drill to ’spin’ those bits through is a big help and this Bosch is certainly the right drill at the right price. ...
Advantages: Good for screwdriver use and simple drilling Disadvantages: Not powerful enough for brickwork
I picked up one of these about six months ago from B&Q for around £60. There must have been some offer on at the time as I got this exact model, but with two batteries. The drill is pretty good. It is light in weight, but quite powerful. Using it to drill into wood is fine. To put screws in, again very good. I managed to put up a small shed, which involved using for screws only. The battery lasted for almost the complete job, so I was glad I had ... ...you are looking to do a lot of DIY work. This is especially true if you need to drill into walls and more importantly brickwork. It can handle plasterboard fine, but needs a hammer function to handle bricks and concrete. As a drill/driver it is pretty good though. Buy wisely though as currently you can pick up Makita drills, cordless, with hammer action, plus a spare battery for under £100. I purchased a Makita and the difference is like chalk and ...
Advantages: Powerful for a cordless drill, Compact, Well priced Disadvantages: Can't think of any.
This 14.4V drill from makita is a good buy. I have been using this tool for over 2 months now and i'm very happy with my purchase. The 6280 is very compact. I was able to screw in 1 inch long screws with the drill squeezed between 2 wood boards only 9 inches apart. The drill comes with a charger and 2 batteries, which is more than enough power to get you through most jobs. You can drill intensively for 2-3 hours with a fully charged battery and it ... ...lasts you a very long time. Makita usualy makes quality power tools. I have a corded makita drill at my job (it belongs to the company) and all the employees use it. As it is not theirs, the makita gets terrible beatings but still works after many years of abuse... ...
Advantages: long life, works well Disadvantages: short battery time
Ah the cordless drill mans best friend, at least its my best friend.
First of all I have to say im liking the colour scheme on this drill, I know that hasnt got anything to do with DIY but I had to say it. Of course it does its job, replacing the screw driver for all those tough jobs, such as hanging up pictures. looking at the drill itself there are lots of things that make you life easier. When inserting a drill bit you simple unscrew the end ... ...in, bu whats clever is its magnatised so its easier to insert and do up if youve only got one hand free.
You can change the speed the drill turns on a dial and also change the direction the drill spins in, handy for annoying backwards screws. There is a clip at the end of the drill which holds a spare drill bit, so you dont have to carry around lose drill bits which could get lost. The drill is very comfortable to hold and not too heavy weighing ...
