A great tool for that in between job where a mains tool is needed
Advantages: Quick and easy to use with all the usual attachements Disadvantages: Its strength means its easy to forget its only a battery powered tool with limitations
...a transformer. But with this Bosch product we now have what I consider a great in between option. My usual industrial mains powered drill is always used for a large job that is going to be on going but this Bosch can be used to do the jobs that need that larger, stronger drill that aren't such a big job. This is great as rather than having to fetch the bigger heavier mains option with transformer the bosch can be fetched from the van to take on those ... ...do was get out the Bosch which was more than strong enough to deal with the wall without all the hassle.
The quick change chuck makes the tool very easy and pleasing to work with!! Despite being battery powered the Bosch will take on most of the Jobs that your mains powered drill will as long as its not an going process, but even then the Li - ion batteries are quick charging and without the memory/power loss that can be a drag. ...

Compact and powerful
Advantages: Powerful for a cordless drill, Compact, Well priced Disadvantages: Can't think of any.
This 14.4V drill from makita is a good buy. I have been using this tool for over 2 months now and i'm very happy with my purchase. The 6280 is very compact. I was able to screw in 1 inch long screws with the drill squeezed between 2 wood boards only 9 inches apart. The drill comes with a charger and 2 batteries, which is more than enough power to get you through most jobs. You can drill intensively for 2-3 hours with a fully charged battery and it ... ...lasts you a very long time. Makita usualy makes quality power tools. I have a corded makita drill at my job (it belongs to the company) and all the employees use it. As it is not theirs, the makita gets terrible beatings but still works after many years of abuse... ...

As I said earlier this is one of many cordless drills I have in my workshop, (why one person needs so many even I don’t know so please don’t ask, ... ...on the shelf), but this Bosch has lasted me quite some time and has never failed me one little bit in all the abuse I have given it.
Although this drill is a nice tool to have at your side, giving you the capabilities of drilling through many materials, it is the actual drill bits which do a lot of the work for you, but having the right drill to ’spin’ those bits through is a big help and this Bosch is certainly the right drill at the right price. ...

Draper 18V Cordless Rotary Drill Kit
Advantages: long life, works well Disadvantages: short battery time
Ah the cordless drill mans best friend, at least its my best friend.
First of all I have to say im liking the colour scheme on this drill, I know that hasnt got anything to do with DIY but I had to say it. Of course it does its job, replacing the screw driver for all those tough jobs, such as hanging up pictures. looking at the drill itself there are lots of things that make you life easier. When inserting a drill bit you simple unscrew the end ... ...in, bu whats clever is its magnatised so its easier to insert and do up if youve only got one hand free.
You can change the speed the drill turns on a dial and also change the direction the drill spins in, handy for annoying backwards screws. There is a clip at the end of the drill which holds a spare drill bit, so you dont have to carry around lose drill bits which could get lost. The drill is very comfortable to hold and not too heavy weighing ...
