Power FM is the leading radio station of the south coast! Mainly broadcast to fans living in Hampshire, this local radio station targets an audience of 18-30 year olds, but people of all ages regularly tune in! The competitions are brilliant, the presenters are funny and instantly likeable and the music is the best!
They have competitions like 'MC Nanny Pat' where you guess song lyrics in order to win prizes like cinema tickets, gig tickets or even a months supply of donuts and because the competition is on every morning on the Zoe and Gillies Breakfast Show there are plenty of chances to win. They always have good bands on the show and the interviews are so funny! They host gigs such as an outdoor festival held on Southampton Common called Power in the Park which has had Craig David, Hearsay, Steps, Blue, Sophie Ellis Bextor and more. And more recently Power Amped gigs at Southampton Guildhall which have been played by The Hoosiers, Zutons, Travis, The Twang, Embrace and more. These gigs are all free and listeners simply ring up to win their tickets.
Power FM has a 'Tune Trackers' feature on their site so listeners can choose the music which the station plays and rate songs

I listen to it occasionally though I tend to prefer Ocean FM nowadays. Lexy
