I am with Direct Line and had to make a claim because my daughter damaged her IBM T42 laptop. PowerPlay Direct were in touch the next working day, picked up the laptop the following day and when I phoned two days later, told me the laptop was beyond economical repair and the very next day delivered a brand new Toshiba laptop which was just as good as the damaged one. Excellent customer service from both Direct Line and PowerPlay Direct - well done!!! ...

This company has an excellent website that looks good and draws you in, however, I ordered a game for my son for christmas on 19/12, it is showing as 'despatched' but it has not yet arrived. I've emailed 3 times and had no response. As another reviewer has said, there is no contact phone number on the site so you can't phone to find out where your order is. ...bought a nintendo wii through powerplaydirect.com which cost £285. The ordering system was very simple and their site is user friendly whilst being very functional. My order took a while to process and it took over 6 days to deliver which seems rather long(even though it was free delivery). when my Nintendo Wii arrived,there was no phone number at all-there was just an invoice. The site has no phone number and email response times are terrible. ...

I came across PowerPlayDirect after searching trying to find the cheapest games for my new PS3. In this case they had both Resistance and Motorstorm £5 cheaper than anyone else at the time, making the price too good to ignore. So I ordered the games separately from the store that would be shipping my PS3. I got the PS3 a whole week before the games from PowerPlay, despite ordering the games a day before I ordered my PS3. I have no issues whatsoever with their prices or service. However I think they use a none major courier which means they incur a long delay on deliveries. I got my games cheap, I just had to wait. So the moral is use them if you want cheap, just don't expect next day Delivery. ...
