TomTom One 3rd Edition

Advantages: Easy to use, great additional features
Disadvantages: Slightly slower than other models on satellite detection

TomTom One 3rd Edition Background TomTom have long been the leading name in Car Navigation Systems. For this reason, they are often not the cheapest, but are definitely the most reliable and have the best features. The TomTom One is the original version, therefore the simplest, yet the 3rd edition has many of the features of the newer Car Navigation Systems. Price and Packaging My TomTom One was bought as a Christmas gift for £122 from the website Pixmania. As already said, you can get cheaper models but the TomTom has the best features. The packaging is simple, a square box with the instruction booklets in the bottom, the accessories (windscreen affixer, USB cable and in car charger) on top of the booklets and the TomTom itself in a plastic case sitting at the top. Setup The TomTom One 3rd Edition ...

Practice for KS3 English Tests

Advantages: Good variety of reading texts
Disadvantages: The Shakespeare tests are out of date

a thirty-minute writing task which is loosely tied to the play in question (for Twelfth Night it centres on the idea of disguise) and finally a 'Reading and Understanding task', which for Macbeth requires the pupils to show an understanding of how the character of Lady Macbeth changes during the play. These two Test Papers could perhaps be of use to someone studying the plays at a fairly low level. You can of course find several books in local branches of W H Smith or Waterstones that are specifically aimed at giving pupils practice in preparing for the KS3 National Tests and that will have been updated to cover the syllabus's current Shakespeare plays, one of which has to be studied. It may make more sense to buy one of these, but I do feel that Testing KS3 English Skills and Practice Year 9 is a worthwhile addition if you are still looking ...

Resorts of Maldives (3rd edition)

Advantages: Knowlegde of the islands before booking
Disadvantages: none

One of the most beautiful books to read and look at..... I had previously done a review on the 2nd edition book, but being new to ciao then, I put it in the wrong category. So here goes with the latest 3rd edition book. The Author Adrian Neville is a dedicated and pasionate maldive expert and has been blessed to be able to travel to the Maldives, visit and stay on the resort islands. This has to be my dream job.... His reviews in my opinion are excellent, we have visited several islands now and we do agree with his reports of them. Many islands have been refurbished with have added rooms and water bungalows and spa facilities. Some have even changed their names since the last book was published. So this was a welcomed and well awaited update. The photographs and page layout are fantastic. Aerial views of the islands ...
