Advantages Exellent Comprehensive Magazine

Disadvantages Only Released Once a Month

I have been reading this magazine - amoungest others from time to time since I was 14 years of age. It is a vital tool for any fishkeeper. Now I subscribe I get excited every month when it arrives through my door.
In amoungest all the usual articles there are some stunning pictures of all your favourite fish and some rare ones. There are also lots of advertisments within the magazine so if you are looking for any fish products you can find someone in your vicinity that can provide you with the products you need.
There are always articles that will be of interest and it is worth keeping back copies as a reference guide.

Ask the experts
Experts answer readers questions on Marine Tropical and coldwater and Pond areas. Topics covered will quite often cover something that is happening in your tank right now, but will always be of interest to read for future reference.

Articles of Interest
Also on tropical Marine and coldwater areas.
Topics covered are quite wide for example articles on Brackish fish, Cichlids or a livebearer special.

Equipment
The first sight of new equipment that is on the market

Competition
There is always a competion usually to win a complete set up!

News and Opinion
News from around the world that is fish related
Information colated from a readers poll - a different topic in every magazine

The PFK retail guide
A comprehensive guide to retailers information about the stores the stocks and whether they subscribe to not sell died fish.

This magazine is a must have for an fishkeeper no matter what level of experience there will always be something that will be of interest. There are quite often guides to setting up tanks for beginners in any area.

There is also a page for young fishkeepers and is a good guide for a parent to read to a young child who wants to keep fish.

I would also add that if you subscribe you usually get a free gift of product. Also with your monthly magazine there are discounts from certain retailers. There are also quite often free gifts with the magazines such as certain fish foods for you to try.

It can be purchased in any good magazine retailer and can be found in the hobby section usually near to the fishing magazines (which seems a little wrong). You can get further information or subscribe on the practical fishkeeping website (which is very easy to find).
