the indicators that alert you when the plates are hot. These lights will remain on until the cooker plates are cool. I have noticed that when the light does go out the plates still do have some heat coming from them. I would say that when the lights go out just still treat it as a dangerous appliance.
The control knobs that you rotate to operate the plates are all marked very clearly. Each control is numbered from 1 through to 6 apart from the rapid plate which is numbered from 1 through to 3

I own this card, bought for connecting my Mercury 5.1 Home Theatre system. This review shares my experiences with this card.
First of all let me point out important specs. I don't give full technical specifications as it is easily available in the net.

Advantages: Very tough, very reliable, good quality (and cheap) lenses Disadvantages: Fiddly rewind knob, heavy
of the Praktica's exceptional strength. As an illustration of this, my camera has survived being dropped six feet onto Tarmac with barely a scratch - how many modern SLRs could take that sort of punishment? This robustness is very reassuring - you get the (fully justified) impression that it will take anything you throw at it.
Loading a film (yes, a normal 35mm roll - it's not *that* old!) is a little fiddly, but not too bad once you've got the hang of it. You just need to remember which sprockets and wires to feed the film in front of, and which behind, otherwise you'll get a horrible scrunching noise a few pictures into the film.... There's no DX coding, either, so you'll need to set the film speed using the knob on top of the camera (you can use any speed of film from 12 to 1600 ASA), which also doubles as the shutter speed setter (1-1/1000s + B ...

The PRAKTICA DVC 5.1HD is the first HD ready camcorder from PRAKTICA. With a resolution of 1280x720 pixels at 30 frames per second the DVC 5.1 HD creates videos in an astonishing quality. The camcorder features a 5 megapixels CMOS sensor, a rotatable 3.0" TFT monitor (940x240 pixels), a 5x optical zoom, a Li-Ion rechargeable battery and a 32MB built-in memory which can be extended with SD or SDHC cards.
