A practical Praktica

Advantages: Very tough, very reliable, good quality (and cheap) lenses
Disadvantages: Fiddly rewind knob, heavy

(Temporary intro part 2: thank you, Ciao! This op is now in the right place, so I'll remove this intro completely in a day or two.) Now this really is a blast from the past. One of the last true Eastern Bloc cameras (with the exception of the cheap-and-nasty Zeniths), the Praktica MTL-50 (which can be found fairly easily in second-hand shops) is a dinosaur by modern SLR standards - it's heavy, it's clunky, and almost everything is mechanical. Which is why I like it so much. I've had mine since 1989, and it's still in perfect working order, mainly because there isn't a great deal to go wrong. The main thing you'll notice when picking up an MTL-50 is the weight - it is far heavier than almost any modern camera on the market today. For some that might be a drawback, but for me it's a bonus, because that weight is a sign ...

Want Super Skin then Sk:n is the place to be!

Advantages: The effects were amazing, skin looked smooth and clear afterwards, Non invasive
Disadvantages: Quite expensive, effects on last for so long

all my cheap products and invested in a few better quality items. Away went the Clean & Clear facial washes I used to buy and in their place came Estee Lauder and Lancome instead. I still had a few outbreaks but nothing in comparison to what I had before. I had been researching the possibility of having a chemical peel or microdermabrasion on my skin for a while as I know they help with dull looking skin, minor blemishes and can help with scarring etc . After watching a couple of makeover shows where the 'victim' had been given a peel and their skin improved afterwards the idea appealed to me even more so I had look on the internet to see what was available and a company caught my eye - Sk:n Clinics. These clinics have a few premises around the UK and offer a number of services that not only help with skin rejuvenation but also laser ...

Logitech Sphere AF

Advantages: Crystal Clear Imaging, Face tracking, Tons of features
Disadvantages: Price

The first thing I will say about the Logitech AF Webcam is: This is more then a webcam! Unfortunately with my Mrs not currently living in the same place as me and due to the fact that I knocked off and stood on my old webcam, it became time for me to buy a new one. Now my old webcam, a Logitech Zoom I bought back 4 year ago and the Camera served me very well! Now I am no worker for Logitech, nor am I biased towards them for any reason at all, but it seems that it's fair to say that they own the market when it comes to the world of Webcams. Anyway, back to Logitech AF. Now I managed to get this for about £65, but you may pay more or less depending on where you get it from. Now I know that £65 is a lot to spend on a webcam, but for me, who uses it almost daily, I didn't feel it was so much, if of course, the camera was worth it ...
