Advantages: Great looking kit great sound Disadvantages: standard hardware needs improving
...for spares and i bought double braced series 3000 hardware which i hope to review too.
Now lets talk about sound and quality. OK this kit looks great in my opinion but looks aint everything.
I use a 6 piece kit, 10" 12" 13" and a 16" floor tom. A 22" bass drum plus my genista snare x2(i have one for spare)
I'll start with the toms, i'll have to mention that i dont use premier skins i use remo weatherkings pinstrips i prefer the sound, anyway, once tuned these toms have a great sound, i find i have to use some dampening on all of them especially the floor tom but once it's all sorted the kit sounds as rockin as hell, each tom complements each other, there's no heavy over tones just a good thumpin rock sound, the quality maynot be of the Signia or other top professional kits but hey your not paying top quality professional prices either...

Advantages: Amazing sound Disadvantages: Tuning pegs have a tendancy to fall out
...I've had a free-floating 5.5"x14" maple snare for around four years, in that time, I've always been impressed by the drums great sound, and amazing rim shots, it's got such a crack. There are often debates in drumming circles as to whether free floating shells actually make any difference, if this snare is anything to go by, I'd say they make a significant difference, as the sound is superior to most normal maple snares of these specifications. The drums resonations are audible, but not unpleasant, and are easily kerbed to a really sweet, and much more desirable level with little tuning effort. With the head at different tensions, this becomes a really versatile snare, it really cuts through, but without losing any depth. As you can see, I have no negative comments about the sound of my snare, it's one of the best I've heard, but I do...

Advantages: Drumming is a cracking hobby, loads of fun Disadvantages: Expensive to start up properly
...Be warned – buying a drum kit is not a cheap business! Firstly, stay away from the Argos/Index trash. Why? Because it’s trash! When first starting out it may be tempting to go for a reasonable looking kit, with cymbals and stands all included, for around £300 - £500. Please don’t do it! I guarantee, a couple of months down the line, you’ll regret it.
Your first kit really needs to consist of a snare drum, a bass, a floor tom and 2 toms. A high hat stand and 2 cymbal stands are also essentials. Don’t always expect cymbals to come with the kit.
You really must be a reputable make of drums – Pearl, Premier, Yamaha or Tama being the key makes. Buying brand new, the Pearl export is by far the best value for money.
It is worth investing in a reasonable set of cymbals right from the start – though reasonably expensive, stretch...

I brought this washing machine in August when my old washing machine broke down costing about £500 but you can get it for lesser than now. I got an engineer to install this for me and he even said that this was a very good model!
First I will describe more
