The game also features a new co-op be a pro season mode where up to 4 friends can take control of 1 footballer from a team and progress through the season, eventually hoping to become captain. This works quite well but the highlight for me again is the new improved manager mode. Play season after season trying to win all the big domestic and european trophies which include domestic leagues, cups, champions league and Uefa cup.
All in all a must for any true football fan and honestly as i have played the xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions of this game. Gameplay wise you cannot beat this PS2 version. ...

Advantages: Players are realistic, Crowd Chants, signature player tricks. Disadvantages: More of an update of Fifa 07 than a New game
I was eagerly awaiting the release of Fifda 08 on the ps2. When i brought it for £29.99 It didnt fill me with excitement like i hoped for. Although it had been improved from Fifa 07 with transfer updates and new kits. I felt it was more or less the same game as Fifa 07 just an update. however the players in the Top teams and the game play is fairly realistic. I particular like the crowd noise. Fifa have introduced such crowd chants for certain teams a few of these being Aston Villa, if you play or be them the crowd will sing: " VILLA VILLA VILLA.. " or if youre West Ham, you'l hear the " im forever blowing bubbles" famous song being sung, which i think adds a extra edge to the game. I think theyve concentrated more on making fifa a much better game for Xbox 360 and PS3. However Overall its a good game! ...

Can you get your tactics right on and off the pitch. Training and coaching are paramount to success. 4-4-2, or 3-1-4-2.
Will you play every game as one player, or watch the action live. Will you see the teletext result, or dictate matters in text mode, or hope for the best and go for the instant result mode.
At the start of the season set your objectives. This affects your budget. Too low and not enough dough! Too high, fail and its bye bye!
Oh yes and there is your family. Will you be married, a Civil Partner, single, all these option are open to you. Keep the family happy too.
