I wanted to try this face powder after reading about it in one of those glassy magazines that make you feel ugly and horrible. I really should stop reading them. But anyway, this magazine claimed it was really good for making your foundation look perfect and all dewy. From the description I was hooked and wanted to buy it. These magazines make you spend your money!
So I went to a major department store and couldn't find it anywhere, ... ...a couple of quid for p&p.
It looks like ordinary powder, in expensive looking container and a nice brush to apply it.
I tipped some of the powder out on to the inside of the lid and then dipped by brush into it and applied it to my face after putting foundation on.
And WOW! The powder felt WET and COLD! The feeling didn't last for too long but it was so wierd I had to put a bit more on!

So I went to a major department store and couldn't find it anywhere, and eventually brought it on ebay! It cost £10.00 and a couple of quid for p&p.

And WOW! The powder felt WET and COLD! The feeling didn't last for too long but it was so wierd I had to put a bit more on! It gave a lovely finish, not shiny and glittery but dewy and quite fresh looking. my sking felt fresh and alive as the powder felt cold on application.
Now I know why they call it Magic Powder!!
It is so different from other face powders that I have tried. no matter how much you put on it doesn't look cakey as it's so light.
The powder gives you a sheer coverage that really finishes your make up off. You don't feel the powder once it is on and you feel as if your skin can still breath underneath the powder. It leaves your make up lasting for longer and still looks fresh hours after.
This powder is expensive, but great for those special occasions where you want to feel special and glam! It's ideal to put on in the morning if you know your going to be out all day, it will keep your make up looking better for longer.
I would recommend this to anyone, and even if you don't normally wear much make up, it will give bear skin a lovely finish.
Advantages: Hides wrinkles, pores and gives a fresh dewy look Disadvantages: Hard to get, usually have to buy online
I first bought this product in America a few years back. Knew nothing about it at the time, thinking it was another 'gimmick' I had fallin for. The box was plain silver with a star on it, glitzy and cheap looking. Anyway, it was'nt till I got home that I realised how FANTASTIC this powder was.
It comes with a small brush on the lid (but TBH, its not great for applying with, I use a bigger brush), and in a clear tub.
I dont have the best skin in ... ...try, the make up always looks patchy and cakes into my wrinkles!! But NOT with this stuff.. I shook the powder out through the wee holes, dabbed my brush in it and proceeded to gently put it on..The feeling was AMAZING, cold, wet, yet dry??? That only lasted for less than a minute, but it was so lovely, I had to try it again!! It felt like a cool mist on my face!! LOVELY... Then, I saw the result....WOW..for the first time EVER in my life, my skin ...

Advantages: Makes skin look dewy and fresh Disadvantages: The brush that comes with it
I am now on my 4th pot of this product (full size) in just over a year and I use it nearly every day (on occasions twice a day) and wouldn't be without it.
I would recommend buying a large face powder brush to use with this product as the brush that comes with it in the lid is useless.
My tips for using this would be to shake some of the product into the "catcher lid" (where the holes are) dip your brush into it and tap the excess off on to the ... ...It feels slightly damp and cold when applied but this is only a brief effect but it does feel strange the first couple of times.
The effect is amazing, your skin looks smoother and dewy. I think it gives a slightly airbrushed look. Although the product is glittery it isn't noticeable and just helps create the effect of dewy skin. As a powder I don't think it can be bettered. Even on not so good skin days it improves my skintone and makes me look ...

Advantages: add a natural glow Disadvantages: the brush comes with box is useless
I first heard about it from a beauty forum. A girl recommended this said it felt cool and moist when applying to skin. Then after a year, I found this powder accidently in House of Fraser. It cost 25 pounds which I thought was reasonable. So I bought it without any hesitancy. It comes with a round translucent box which has a small brush inserted in the lid. I have to say that the brush is absolutely useless. At first I tried to apply the powder with ... ...spread the powder evenly either. Then I used my bobbi brown powder brush which did a much better job. As to the powder, it's soft and sheer, no obious shimmer in it. When you apply it to your face, it's wet and cool which is quite refreshing especially in summer days. Afer a few seconds the feeling is gone (How I wish it could last all day). Looking in the mirror, there is a pearly sheer all over your face. Skin looks dewy and fresh, you can't see ...

Advantages: feels refreshing and skin feels soft, gives a dewy finish Disadvantages: coverage and perhaps packaging
I heard about this powder in a few magazines this year, saying it hides redness, blemishes, pores, lines you know! so i thought ooh perfect a new powder to try! i purchased this from a john lewis store for £25.00-reasonable for a powder and it does last very well! I wasnt too impressed with the packaging i think it looks quite cheap with the star on it etc etc but thats not really the point as it is a proffessional cosmetic company! oh! and i didnt ... ...the lid! i wasnt too bothered cause people have said its crap and i have a m.a.c powder brush which i love anyway! but if i didnt have a better brush id be pretty wicked off if i knew you were supposed to get 1!
Nways to the actual product itself! it feels really weird to put on! quite refreshing and just weird, you cant quite get your head around the fact that its a powder yet it feels like a cold gel being put on your face!! it lasts around 3 ...
