PRESTIGE - THE COMPANY
Prestige Cosmetics is a cosmetics company selling make-up firstly in the US and now in the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia and South America for over 20 years. The company claims that the close relationship it has with the fashion industry is what enables them to translate catwalk fashion trends into colour and 'wearable beauty' for women.

AUTOMATIC WATERPROOF EYELINER
I'd like to discuss each of the features of this eyeliner in turn.

Firstly, it is an automatic eyeliner, which means it never needs sharpening as you just need to twist it up from the base for more pencil once the top becomes blunt. The eyeliner originally comes sharpened to a tip upon first purchase but I have found that once this wears down it is almost impossible to get the tip as sharp again (unless you have the type of automatic tip sharpener that comes with No 7 lipliners.) The tip can be swivelled back down after use to prevent breakage.

The waterproof claim, I have found, most definitely holds up. I have used this eyeliner on the waterline, top waterline and top and bottom lashline and have found the product to still be there after a shower if I have not removed it with an eye make-up remover. I have even tried drawing a line on my hand to test its staying power compared to other eyeliners and found the line stayed however long I left it until removing with eye makeup remover.

It can be a little difficult to remove, such is its staying power, but with a good cream eye makeup remover that won't irritate your eyes, and a cotton bud it comes right off.

The liner glides on very smoothly without tugging at the skin and has an almost waxy consistency. This allows you to smudge the liner as desired after applying, but after a few seconds (once it dries) that's it. No budging, no smudging. It does not transfer on to my lower lash line or under my eye, and on the upper waterline, lasts for hours and hours on end. It lasts for even longer if you set it with a matte eye shadow powder over the top of the liner.

The colour is a very intense black and very pigmented compared to something like Maxfactor's Kohl Pencil in black.

I have been using this for over 6 months. In the UK it can be purchased at Boots and Superdrug's. I bought mine from Boots for £4.99, a very reasonable price, in fact a steal, when you look at how it has the quality of a high-end premium eyeliner.
