Although the clothes in Primark are cheap and cheerful, when it comes to customer service, I found that it was non existent. I had hoped to exchange a present which was the wrong size for me. I was told at customer services just to choose another one. However there was none available so I chose something else as one would do. Because I didn't have a receipt, as the garment was a gift, the manager who I called for, told me that I could not exchange it for any other goods that were not identcal, whatever the price. He said that this was company policy. He even looked for a replacement and discovered there was none. I told him that I was left with a jumper that was no use to me. He just shrugged and said there was nothing he could do.
It is time that they changed company policy, and gave their managers some good training on customer care.

Advantages: You can afford the latest fashions that you see in the magazines. Disadvantages: Some if it is just complete tat that I wouldn't be seen dead in.
