"Primark"

I've bein shopping at primark for a few years now, and although i've noticed the prices have slightly increased, so has the quality. The clothes have a bad reputation, and alot of people seem to think they fall apart after a while. I'd reccomend if you like an item of clothing in primark, simply trying it on and getting a feel for it will give you an idea of how long it'll last. If it's thin and feels cheap, then obviously give it a miss.

What's it like?
If you've not shopped at primark before, you may be a bit wary upon first impressions. My local primark is always very disorganized, cluttered and can get easily overcrowded. The store is devided into different product categories, such as womenswear, menswear, baby and childrenswear, underwear, pyjamas, shoes, homewear, bags and accessories and sale items. Clothes are normally on racks or in large mesh containers.

Prices
Prices are amazingly cheap, but i'd reccomend to always double check the prices as sometimes items are in the wrong category and don't have a price tag. I do find that the prices hugely vary, here's a quick outline for you:

Vest tops are usually £1.50 for basics and go up to £4 for patterned/textured ones.
T shirts vary from as low as £1 upto £8

Basic jumpers in my local primark store are £3.50. They're good quality, quite thick and long but not too warm/heavy.
Knitted/patterned jumpers are usually £8-£20. Although this is quite expensive for primark it is a fraction of the price you'd pay for a similar jumper at Topshop or Newlook and is, in my opinion, as good quality.

Cardigans are usually £8-£25, depending on the material and style.
Coats and jackets can vary from £15-£25. (depending on size, material, style, season)

Most shoes are £2-£20, with pumps and flats bein mainly £6, and heels and boots bein £10-£20. Ugg style boots can be found at £4 in my local store.
Jeans are £6-£10, they're great and last well but i'd reccomend trying them on before buying as the sizing isn't always accurate.

Womens underwear sets vary, prices start at £4 and go upto £10. A pack of your average nickers is a bargain, you can get packs of 7 at £2.50. Mens boxers start at £1 and go upto £8. Socks (womens and mens), start at £1.50 a pair and go upto £4 for the longer, thicker socks or packs.

There is also a huge range of accessories, including umbrellas, hats, gloves, handbags, makeup bags, hair accessories, jewellrey and makeup. Most accessories are under £3, but bags in my local store are sold for upto £15 depending on the size and style. There makeup, although cheap, i wouldn't reccomend as the eyeliner can form into blobs very easily.

Overall it's a great place to fill your wardrobe out with cheap, fashionable clothes!
