...The Thrustmaster Firestorm Dual Power Gamepad, despite looking like a piece of early 90s tackmonger hardware, is actually one serious piece of kit. You are presented on initial impression with a mat black lump of plastic, covered in blue buttons with two control sticks - nothing too impressive and without further info. if you saw it in the shops, you'd no doubt pass it by for something which looks a little more professional.

The Firestorm Dual Power is a force feedback gamepad, which means that if you get a bump or a jolt in the game, you are going to get the same from the joypad - and its some jolt on this little beauty. Advantages: Slim, Optional Stand, Fast Disadvantages: Only 1 PCI Slot
...In all the Compaq d530 USDT is a lovely machine to work on and to support, its slim design limits the amount of deskspace required and also the option of standing it up like a bookend is also another very appealing feature. The machine in general comes with a very fast Pentium 4 2.4ghz dual processor, 256 MB Ram (min) and at least a 40gb hard drive, so there is alot of nice components inside. The only thing that this type of compaq lacks is additional PCI slots, it comes with a standard 1, but thats all so if you wanted to add anyting more then 1 extra component then you would be stuffed.
We use alot of comapq machines and in terms of use in an office this is more then adequate to run all your normal programs and operating system, there is the option of upgrading or adding further memory if required, but so far i have not felt...
