...a month later, the primary drive started to say INVALID BOOT DISK, so i tried to reinstall XP, and the set up failed, leaving me £20 out of pocket, lsot all my work files, and using a 20GB hard drive again. These items were not under warranty, so i could not have them replaced. So if you want to buy any of these hard drives, i would say make sure it comes with at least 6 months waranty.... Read review

...This Western Digital WD800JD Internal Hard drive was one of my best computing buys. I bought it boxed and unopened from eBay for £20, and other listings of the same item were of a similar price, £20 for 80 GB, which works out £1 for 4GB, which is pretty cheap. It came in perfect condition, with easy instructions to follow if you didn't already know what you are doing, when going to install it, it was a simple case of screwing it to the Bay and plugging in the Power and SATA cables and then booting the PC. It required no BIOS editing and no formatting. I installed Vista Ultimate on it fine, and within an hour of getting it, I was downloading the Ultmate Updates, I have yet to have any problems with it, it is quiet,fast (150 MBps) and has good cache(8 MB).
