The 1 to 1 PowerCopy from Primary is very easy to use. Just place the master in the reader and a blank CD-R/DVD-R in the recorder and it automatically starts to copy.

Service & Support Details: Limited warranty - 1 year
Advantages: nice looking, lots of features, great picture quality Disadvantages: limited resolutions for RGB and DVI inputs
...This widescreen LCD has excellent picture quality and i use it everyday for watching tv and using my computer. It is durable and i've had it for 1 year now with no problems at all.
It is unusually easy to setup and has loads of inputs on the back. The speakers on the sides work much better than many other products.
The monitor is light, compact, and looks very nice.
However, the max resolution for RGB and DVI is 1280x768 at 60hz which is not as good as some of the other products on the market. If you want to use it as your primary monitor I would suggest you go for something else for this reason.
But if you're watching dvds, widescreen tv, then the monitor is excellent and will really add value to your dvd collection....

...Looking for a new video card to replace my Mystique + Orchid Righteous 3D 3DFX 1 i looked againn at 3dfx. Buying the cheapest one, i took it home, tried it out but Alas! any direct3D game wouldn't work. The problem? the 3dfx disc didn't remove the entry sayiong "for direct3d use the voodoo1 card, not primary video". Tech support were useless - eventually i found an .inf file off the net, which sorted things out. Finally i could play games, and i was amazed at how much faster they ran. At last QII was playable, and all of the time [not just those "close by the wall" moments] and i felt as if it was worth it. Unfortunately prolonged play caused the temperature inside my machine to skyrocket, which i solved by getting on eof those fans that takes up a blanking plate for about a fiver. All in all a good card, but it was let down...

Advantages: Cheap (around 85£), good quality Disadvantages: Slow compared to the most recent cd recorders
...Few weeks ago, wondering around the web, looking for something interesting to buy with my beenz, I found this nice cd recorder: Philips PCRW804.
It is very easy to install, I just put it in the right slot, connected to the secondary IDE as master (I preferred to leave cd rom on primary IDE as slave, this speeds up data transfer from cd rom to cd recorder), and started my pc.
Windows 98 recognised the recorder immadiately, without the need to install any other driver.
Philips PCRW804, can write CD-R and CD-RW, it writes CD-R at 8x and CD-RW at 4x; reading speed is 32x.
I tested it with many different kinds of CD-R and CD-RW and it didn't give me any problem at all (using Nero 5.5.1.8).
This recorder will save a lot of space on your hard disk and will let you bring your software or music anywhere you like!...

I received my HD DVD player one week ago.
For this reason you may want to check out the durability of the item from other sources but so far so good for me. It appears to be very well made and so I would guess that it is going to last.
First things more
We are moving into our first house in the next few weeks and my wife just got a new job so we decided to spoil ourselves a bit and upgrade our Home Entertainment System.
Before going on to the actual review I would just like to mention a few things... more
