issues with this item: There's no on/off switch on the warmer itself so you have to switch it on and off at the mains. There also doesn't appear to be any safety cut-off should you forget to switch it off (something I've done on several occasions when my son has been screaming his head off) and it just merrily continues to heat the water until it boils dry. So far, this doesn't appear to have had an adverse effect on my warmer but I can't be sure of that. There's no timer, which I would have thought would be a must. So although the instructions give you a list of timings depending on the quantity being warmed, there's no easy way of keeping track of how long the bottle's been in the warmer, and you need to keep a separate timer handy. Bottle And Food Warmer

Disadvantages: Takes a bit longer to heat up the bottles

Why would you want to buy a bottle warmer when you could heat your bottles in a jug of hot water? Well, have you ever forgotten that the bottle was in the hot water and left it too long? I have! Then you have to put the bottle in cold water, you leave it too long again, you then have to put back into hot water! I?ve done this cycle many times in the past. I could never seem to get the temperature quite right and spent so long messing about trying to! With a bottle warmer, put a little water in it and you just set the temperature to the required heat, place the bottle in and when you need the bottle, it?s ready! it half the time. I tend to leave the same water in there for a whole day so that you dont have to go back and forward to the sink emptying it all the time. Then having to refill it. It has done no harm to it doing this. They also have this bottle warmer in my town centre's Woolworths cafe. They leave it on all day heating up. I have gone in there once and there has been no water in it and it was still heating up its very suprising that it still works. So it just shows that it is a long lasting product. Because 7 weeks on and they still have the same 1 and they use it everyday all day without turning it off. Its probably quite dangerous to do this. But its not my one so I dont mind. I would advise people not to do this and to turn it off. I would recommend to other mums, great value for money does the job it's efficient ...
