I'm a mum of 2 and although I no longer have regular work I do manage to do a bit of supply teaching to keep my skills up to date! I live in the sunny south where I grew up, close to my family and friends.

Overview I bought a set of these pushchair/stroller connectors when my daughter was about 8 months old. I had already bought a second stroller as my son had been unwell for a long time and finding it difficult to walk everywhere. Whilst 2 strollers are fine when you have a helping hand I was struggling along during the week. Theses connectors connected my 2 (identical) strollers together to be a twin stroller. This means I can push both children at once and get out and about more. Whilst they attach easily and take off easily it can be cumbersome to push the 2 strollers together. Its easier on flatter surfaces such as shopping centres and a certain amount of "getting the knack" is needed. However, now I have I wouldn't be without them.
Packaging / contents/ availability They come in a pack of 3 and are available from some larger baby shops such as Mothercare, Boots and John Lewis. They are fairly easy to find online. They aren't cheep at £17 but it is cheaper than buying a double buggy and also gives you the option to have 2 singles as well.
Use Each connector comes apart and then clips onto the frame of the strollers. Its is important that the frames are the same or very similar. They need to be clamped tightly shut in order to avoid wobbling (which I found out through trial and error)
Advantages Allows 2 single buggies to become a double Easy to carry Easy to put on and take off
Disadvantages A certain knack to pushing the double is required
Price / Value for money
There aren't cheep but for me on a short term need they were well worth it. I now keep both strollers and the connectors in my car so I have them for those times when I need them. There is also a good resale value on ebay.
Overall
I'm really pleased I bought these as sometimes my son feels ok and wants to walk, which means I just have one stroller that day. Also as his condition improves I won't need them but I also won't need to buy a single for my daughter, so cost effective in the long run. A really great idea.

these sound ideal for mums who have two tots as when the first tot is able to walk a good distance it means you do not have to buy second buggy as you will if you have twin double buggy , Hope your elder son is well now Mary
