But the size of the monitor was extremly large and did take up the majority of my desk, I would say this was the only disadvantage, but size is an important matter these days. Apart from those points I've had no problems with it for 5 years and it has been moved a couple of times, the picture quality has stayed the same throughout these years and there has been no flickering or any other common monitor problems with it.
