It lasted a good five years, and was a good investment five years ago. Although for todays standards it is not the best monitor around. The picture quality was very good. But the size of the monitor was extremly large and did take up the majority of my desk, I would say this was the only disadvantage, but size is an important matter these days. As with any cream monitor it turns yellow after a few years. And if your the type to move around this monitor is extremly heavy. Apart from those points I've had no problems with it for 5 years and it has been moved a couple of times, the picture quality has stayed the same throughout these years and there has been no flickering or any other common monitor problems with it.
