more for your money Advantages: higher quality prints Disadvantages: a little fiddly at first HP 350XL I have recently started using this XL version replacing the previous smaller versions. I used both the black and colour cartridges at work. My workload for printing is high as I am constantly preparing visual worksheets for pupils. I need high quality prints that are consistantly clear and of very good quality to ensure the children are attracted to what they see. I have found these cartridges provide clear, focused black prints and very ... ...with the quanity of prints each cartridge produces. Although i have not counted exact amounts of printing produced, I do not seem to be replacing them as often. At first I did notice they were a little tricker to install, however this is due to the extended length. After installing the first set of cartridges, I have found it as easy as the smaller types. T0715 for Epson printers Advantages: cheaper to buy 4 but can also buy singly Disadvantages: you have to look around for the cheapest as prices do vary We have a very good Epson DX6000 printer. This printer takes 4 separate inks. This comes in handy when just one colour gets low. I know its low because when I go to do some printing I will get a low ink flashing sign come up and it will then show me how much ink is left and roughly how much copying I can do before it finally runs out. It will also tell me which ink is low. I print off a lot of photographs so it is not just the black ink that runs ... ...did notice that some non epson inks were cheaper and we did think of buying them. We were then informed that if we used these on this printer that was still under guarantee they might refuse to honour the guarantee as we had not used their own brand of ink. We therefore decided to stick to Epson ink at least until the guarantee was up. Before you buy the multipack though it really is worth looking around to find the cheapest site or shop selling ... A good value paper + ink package Advantages: Low price, official cartridges, decent photography paper Disadvantages: Paper isn't intended for everyday printing Usually when I need to get more paper or cartridges I buy them separately, as they never seem to run out at the same time. This time, however, they ran out simultaneously, and I found this pack to buy, which beat the combined price of other options I could find. The cartridges are entirely standard, but if anything appeared to last a little longer than the non-HP ones I bought last time. It was not made clear when I bought it that the enclosed paper ... ...to use for everyday printing tasks. For my photographs, however, the included paper was of very good standard, and I would be happy to show off my photos on it. If you need to buy paper and ink together, this is a good package, assuming you own a compatible printer. However, if you want thin paper for everyday printing, you'd be better off buying cartridges and some cheap, normal printing A4 separately. HP, Quality Ink Advantages: good quality prints Disadvantages: More pricey than refills As long as you've picked the right cartridge for you printer, then this is a good choice of ink cartridges, as they are from the manufacturer and you can rely on them to be of a high quality. These inks produce a good and solid colour and I have always been impressed by the results they give. I would definatley reccomend using the Manufacturer's own cartridges rather than refils, which although they can produce good results, they do not necersarially ... Canon - Better refil it yourself Advantages: Long lasting printer head...
