I have been using the Oki toner cartridges for apporximately 12 months. In my opinion the quality is fantastic, clear and precise. When a notice pops up telling me to replace the cartridge it can be ignored for quite a considerable time, even when running low on certain colours I have still found that the quality is good. Those of you who remember my stunning, wrongly uncrowned review of the HP300 will remember how it ran out after just 140 pages. Well, this time I splashed out on the upgrade. Basically, these cost £30 each, although I picked them up on ebay for around £19 brand new and sealed. They are print cartridges that do a lot more than the HP300.

Ryman has a number of own brand photo papers - the matt paper is decent but none of the ryman glossy papers are worth buying. The gloss paper comes in a variety of gsm's (thickness) - the higher gsm's being sturdier and better quality. It is also available in a number of sizes - 6x4, 7x5 and A4. This is a positive aspect of the 'brand' giving a relatively wide range of options to choose from. However when using the paper on a home printer (results ... ...could tell it's a nice photo but half the ink has rubbed off onto the envelope. Yes ryman photo paper is cheaper than other brand name papers but it's not worth it for the trade off in quality, however if you insist on buying Ryman, get the matt paper instead. ...
