no more messy ink cardridges
Review of SAGEM Photo Easy 155 by
nedmusic
Advantages: seems to be a cheap method and easy to set up
Disadvantages: might be a problem with cartridge
Just got the sagem 155 photo printer and so far I am very impressed. The quality is the same as a normal photo from a shop and it takes less than a minute. I have found a slight problem with the cartridge not being seen but will update you later. wish I had bought one of these earlier.this will solve the problem I have been having with ink jet printers ie paper and ink quality not good. at the moment these printers are available on and off at the ...

Excellent Photo Printer
Review of HP PhotoSmart 385 by
mrcricket
Advantages: Compact, portable, wireless, preview screen, easy to use.
Disadvantages: None really, but make sure you dont overpay, £140 is a good price.
...very happy. The HP PhotoSmart 385 is quite compact and very portable as it can be used wireless through USB and bluetooth connections. Its speed is ok but this is to be expected with a quality colour photo printer. The preview screen is the best feature of this printer allowing you to view before you print. This photo printer also includes 32 MB of RAM so some of your photos can be stored for printing in the future. When bought the printer comes ... ...your photos don't forget to include prices replacement cartidges and printing paper when deciding whether to buy or not. With prices starting at £139.46 this is a good buy and you wont be disapointed with the results. Overall i am still extremely happy with this printer as i have never had any trouble at all, therefore i recommend it to all people looking for a photo printer. Enjoy! ...

Even the wife admits it makes pretty good prints
Review of Sony Picture Station DPP-FP30 by
dobieg
Advantages: Astonishingly good prints
Disadvantages: requires special media, 23p a sheet
...announced that I'd bought a Sony DDP-FP30 (well, at any rate, that was the 'polite' translation!)
She was right to a point - We use a Samsung laser printer (which I've reviewed previously)on the main PC - mostly for printing reports, projects and general rubbish that doesn't need colour.
We've got an ancient Epson colour inkjet, which is attached to the kid's PC, which aspires to photo quality, but really doesn't deliver the goods, and there's ... ...which are connected to an absolute dinosaur of a minicomputer (size and weight of a couple of washing machines!)
So why invest in 'another toy which you'll get fed up with in a couple of weeks'?
- well - this one's different! (but I would say that!)
The DPP-FP30 is a compact dye sublimation printer which is designed to produce high quality colour photographs in what approximates to 'quarter plate' format (roughly 4"x6" - less margins).
The claimed ...

How about a PictureMate
Review of Epson Compact Photo Printer by
vickiuk
Advantages: Very easy to use, light and compact, prints excellent quality photos.
Disadvantages: To get a good quality photo it is better to use Epson glossy paper.
...it is better to use Epson glossy paper, I tried it with Kodak glossy paper and it came out blotchy, but the supplied paper printed very good photos .
I bought mine for £99:99p from Argos (£150 everywhere else) I don't know what the cartridge costs yet but to keep the standard of photos as good I'd be inclined to get the proper cartridge from Epsom ,because you wan`t your photos to look good and stay looking good.
Also you do get 20 sheets of photo ... ...to understand.
So to top this off I'm greatly impressed with the Epson photomate it is easy to use, quiet, comes with a nifty handle and does exactly what I want it to do, preserve my family memories..
LOOK JUST GO BUY IT ! you wont be disappointed.
Happy printing ...
