Set your digital photo's free!
Review of Epson PictureMate 100 by Elyvanlubo

Advantages: Compact, easy to use, good value for money
Disadvantages: Picture quality is not amazing, but fine for your average person

I bought this product because I had endless digital photos on my computer that I kept meaning to get printed, but never got round to taking my memory card to the shop to do it. Being an old-fashioned kind of girl, I like to have hard copies of my pictures that I can put in a frame and admire. I have been very pleased with this product. It is very compact and easy to use. The trays that hold the paper going in and coming out can be extended or retracted ...
...have never taken it anywhere so for me this was unecessary. The top of the printer features a few multi-funtional buttons and a small screen on which you can view the pictures before you print them. The slots for the cards are hidden behind a neat panel that pulls down. This printer can be connected directly to your computer and you can print pictures from there, or you can insert your camera's memory card directly into the printer. The latter is ... Read review

How about a PictureMate
Review of Epson Compact Photo Printer by vickiuk

Advantages: Very easy to use, light and compact, prints excellent quality photos.
Disadvantages: To get a good quality photo it is better to use Epson glossy paper.

...it is better to use Epson glossy paper, I tried it with Kodak glossy paper and it came out blotchy, but the supplied paper printed very good photos . I bought mine for £99:99p from Argos (£150 everywhere else) I don't know what the cartridge costs yet but to keep the standard of photos as good I'd be inclined to get the proper cartridge from Epsom ,because you wan`t your photos to look good and stay looking good. Also you do get 20 sheets of photo ...

...prints fairly quickly. The paper I've been using is Epson photo paper, but any 6 x 4 photo paper will work well. My parents bought mine from Comet, I don't know how much they paid. It is available from Argos for £149.99 or around £130 from Amazon. ... Read review

EPSON PICTUREMATE 100
Review of Epson PictureMate 100 Mobile Phone Edition by womblebatman

Advantages: EASE OF USE, QUALITY OF PHOTO'S, COMPACT SIZE
Disadvantages: NO LCD BUILT IN, TAKES AWHILE TO PRINT

...prints to dry whereas the Epson prints 'touch' dry photo's It doesn't have a built in LCD but you can print an index of your photo's from a memory card. It has a number of memory card slots on the front and you can also use the USB connector on the back. I use mine with a SanDisk which I use to store computer edited photo's. The print cartridge's can be a bit expensive (£17+). If you shop around you can find them for around £5. ukdvdr.co.uk is ...
...point out is that the Epson will comsume alot of ink if you use the 'clean print head' command. If you use this function several times (ie more than 4) it will eventunately lead to the internal ink cartridge pad becoming saturated and at that point you have to replace the cartridge. In conclusion, I would say that this is one of the best 'cheaper' stand alone printers out there. My family have been amazed at the quality of the pints and although ... Read review
