Smooth, Quick, Good Looking....and its a printer
Review of HP Color LaserJet CP3505 by joerearden

Advantages: Quick startup and printing, great quality, smaller than last one.
Disadvantages: Not sure on cost of toner etc but always seem to be really expensive

...on its specs on the HP site as I don't always trust the staff at PC World, they seem way to cheerful for selling PC's daily. Then ordered online and it arrived a coupld of days ago, I am pretty savvy with installing printers and making them work as I have done it for a couple of businesses and friends but this one seemed even easier than normal It is also much smaller than I expected, the previous laserjet has its own gravitational pull it was so ...
...on a filing cabinet and there is no bending of wood in sight. I can't comment on the running cost as it has literally been here for 3 days and I haven't looked at cost of toner and photo units yet but probably similar to what we paid for Epson. The best thing is that it prints colour and black and white really quick! We always have on the spur of the moment things at work to design and print for new deals etc and this means I don't have to start ... Read review

The only jams in our office are strawberry jams
Review of HP LaserJet P2015x by TheHairyGodmother

Advantages: Fast printing, High quality, Easy to use
Disadvantages: None

░▒▓ HP LASERJET P2015x ▓▒░ Stifling heat, mid summer, a deadline to meet and tensions running high. When you have knocked coffee over your work for the third time and you now have the rancid breath of your manager curling over your shoulder the last thing you need is for your network printer to start randomly printing all over the page, screwing the paper up and/or giving its own satisfying splunk noise and going ...
...of our office equipment and HP have made the design as simplistic as possible. One of the most important things about any printer is the paper trays and uptake from the said trays. Most problems with printers will arise in places where there are moving parts and so the printer trays are the most likely source of disruption to your printing. This printer has three trays, two standard 250-sheet trays at the bottom and a pull down multipurpose tray, ... Read review

perfect office printer
Review of Brother HL 5280DW by techno_man_37

Advantages: print speed, quality and so silent
Disadvantages: could look better

This Brother HL 5280DW is one of the top models from brothers laser printers. It offers very fast printing, great quality of printers as well as managing a range of different tasks and has lots of different features too. Its 266MHz RISC processor is what runs this machine to its current power and its 32MB of on-board memory, this can too be upgraded to a maximum of 544MB if you really need it. Also built into this is networking. You would expect ...
...it is effectively an office, or home office printer. This means that you can connect computers or laptops to the printer wirelessly so there is no need for those messy wires getting all over the place and connectivity is just simpler. The wireless networking built into the printer can reach transfer rates of 54Mbps. As far as design goes, this isn’t too bad. This printer should look horrible though, as all this printer is, is a simple white ... Read review

Paper Jams R Us!
Review of Lexmark T 640n by andycharger

Advantages: Speed, functionality, robustness
Disadvantages: Paper Jams, High Consumable Price, Maintenance

Lexmark may not be the first name you think of when you consider purchasing a new printer for home or at work. They are not what I would consider to be one of the "big names" in printer. People normally think of Cannon, Epson and HP. However, this is a very robust manufacturer for office and home printing solutions, if a little expensive on consumables. Reason for purchase. This printer is actually recommended by our software supplier as it is ...
...the high Yield toners from Lexmark and these will set you back between £160-£200 each. Very pricey and lets the printer down badly. However for this you do get your 30,000+ pages of print easily. Fitting is quite straightforward but again you need to open 2 doors to fit it and remember to close them in the right order! The times i have not and then needed to open it all up again. Remember it is a monotone printer so you only need to buy black ink ... Read review

A bigger tray but the printer is only ok!
Review of Lexmark T 642n by andycharger

Advantages: Fast effficient print quality
Disadvantages: Too many additional items, expensive toners

...PURCHASE After years of running Lexmark T522s and T610s, we recently replaced our entire fleet with the T64X models. The X stands for either 0 in our T640 range or 2 in our T642n Range. Differences between the 2 are very insignificant to some but not to others. Its basically that the T642 has a 500 Sheet Paper drawer built in as opposed to the 250 Sheet drawer on the T640. Doen not sound much but it means you only have to restock the drawer half ...
...when buying laser toners for Lexmark Printers. Compared to similar toners from Epson, Cannon and HP, the Lexmark toners yield less and cost more per page. OK, initial outlay is cheaper but you will soon end up regretting the consumables if you print loads. Add to this the additional costs if I want my printer to Duplex. For those of you that dont know, Duplexing is printing on both sides. Most modern Laser printers are able to cope with this internally. ... Read review
