Smallest A3 Printer EVER
Review of OKI C 8600n by xantian15

Advantages: A3, Small, Fast with great picture quality
Disadvantages: Cannot find one

...Internet and came across the OKI C8600. Initially impressions were unbelievable, it is quite, fast and half the size of all other printers on the market at a really good price. You have to see it to believe it. Now instead of a large A3 laser printer taking up a whole corner of the office, the C8600 is happily sitting on my desk and we have a coffee machine in the corner instead. Everyones happy. A few details on features: Design: The design of ...
...looking A3 printer that fits on my desk and everyone in the office connect to it over the network. I suppose it could be improved if you painted a nice black and grey colour. It is ideal for anyone in an office or at home after an A3 printer and want to save on space. Installation: Really simple plug and play. First put in the ink cartridges and the connect it to your PC via the network or USB ports and your away. Performance: We had a HP colour ... Read review

HP 500 plus wide format printer
Review of HP DesignJet 500 Plus by bob3000000

Advantages: reliability quality and very very cheap to buy.
Disadvantages: can be a little slow upto 45 minutes to print a high quality picture.

The hewlitt packard 500 plus. I do not have a bad word to say about this. the printer is employed in my printing company for producing one off prints large scale and it does the job without any quarms. i have gone through loads of ink cartridges for this which does add up. but the money you can make for your time is well worth it. it is a little slow but if you are going to use it to print plans or like me one off prints it is fine if you can ...
...a bargain. I have never had any problems with this machine at all, I have printed literally hundreds of 60 inch by 40 inch pictures on it, you do have to look after the machine try to keep dust out of it don't put dusty paper rolls in. Try to stick with official paper it does a better job. as for running costs well in my experience based on the ammount of ink I put on a poster: on a 42 inch roll this machine costs in the region of £7 per metre ... A printer good for home use
Review of Canon PIXMA IP2500 by Sweetpea1075

Advantages: Inexpensive, Nice design, modern looking, OK for everyday use
Disadvantages: Noisy, takes ages to start up, goes through ink quickly

...had broken. I have a Canon camera and know that Canon is a good well know brand. It also looks nice and modern and has a nice shiny black finish. For the jobs that I want it to do at the moment, it performs well, although I am hoping to print out some large photo prints in the near future, so will be upgrading. For standard photos and written documents, it does the job nicely, although some of the colours on the photos did not come out the same ...
...the printer itself, as my PC may not be set up correctly. The disadvantage is the amount of ink it uses. I have never used so much over the last few months, especially if you are printing out photos - it is not a cheap option. Much cheaper to get them done at processing lab or online. The ink is not cheap for this printer either, compared with other similar printers. Although I have found that even when it says it is empty, there is still actually ... Read review

A good printer with added "bits"
Review of Epson Stylus Photo R300 by Carrotts73

Advantages: good print quality, cheap copy cartridges, stand alone if needed
Disadvantages: none really

The Epson R300 is a good low cost Photo Printer. It has lots of useful features, for instance you can print direct from a camera, or pop a memory card into the reader on the front. If you're connected to a PC then it can use the memory card reader as well. It is also possible to attach a Bluetooth module and print direct from a camera phone, but I've not tried this. You can buy a colour LCD for it so that you can preview pictures before you print ...
...and it can knock 6x4 prints out in a minute or so. It also has the capability of printing direct onto white coated CD/DVDs if you want to make your Disks look smart! I get my ink from eBay, and this does not seem to massively affect the quality of printouts but is much cheaper. The set up is very straightforward. The printer has a little LCD screen that gives out status messages and other information, so it is worth remembering this before you ... Read review

HP 7260
Review of HP PhotoSmart 7260 by makro74

Advantages: Excellent quick printing, photos just add icing on the cake
Disadvantages: Paper jams for drafts

...relatively quick speed (depending on settings). But beware of using draft prints as this for some reason causes the printer to jam or crumple through the process. Ink catridges suprisingly outlast any other inkjet I have owned. HP 56, 57, 58 are used in this machine. ... Read review
