Smooth, Quick, Good Looking....and its a printer
Review of HP Color LaserJet CP3505 by joerearden

Advantages: Quick startup and printing, great quality, smaller than last one.
Disadvantages: Not sure on cost of toner etc but always seem to be really expensive

...on its specs on the HP site as I don't always trust the staff at PC World, they seem way to cheerful for selling PC's daily. Then ordered online and it arrived a coupld of days ago, I am pretty savvy with installing printers and making them work as I have done it for a couple of businesses and friends but this one seemed even easier than normal It is also much smaller than I expected, the previous laserjet has its own gravitational pull it was so ...
...on a filing cabinet and there is no bending of wood in sight. I can't comment on the running cost as it has literally been here for 3 days and I haven't looked at cost of toner and photo units yet but probably similar to what we paid for Epson. The best thing is that it prints colour and black and white really quick! We always have on the spur of the moment things at work to design and print for new deals etc and this means I don't have to start ... Read review

Great, big printer!
Review of Lexmark C 522n by moorejs

Advantages: Great value for money, good print quality, fast output
Disadvantages: Big and heavy; starter cartridges don't last long

A very good value-for money entry-level colour laser. I found this very easy to set up (with WinXP, via USB) and with good print quality for most purposes, such as newsletters and other desktop-publishing. Probably not quite the standard you'd want if you're a keen digital photographer and want large photo output, but then I haven't tried changing the default settings or using high-quality glossy paper. Don't expect it to sit on a small shelf next ... Read review

Magicolor 2350
Review of Konica Minolta Magicolor 2350 by owenhurrell234

Advantages: Easy install, great interface options, very fast black output
Disadvantages: colour output very, very slow at A4 size

Ok, so laser printers are more expensive than inkjets. BUT; when you look at the saving that can be made on consumables it starts to be a bit of a no brainer as to which you buy! this printer cost me a little over £200 delivered, which was a great deal, they are usually around the £250+ area but still a good deal at that. It's got a pretty strange layout, that whilst totally functional is not that pretty, it's got a sort of front-side face, which ...
...on, and a back panel which is just plain, but the other two 'ends' leave you wondering which way round your supposed to put the printer, the paper sits in an open feeder, and bit like a manual feeder only for lots of sheets, on one side, which also has the power and interface connection on, so if you want to be able to replace paper you have to see a big sheet of steel with the connection sticking out? minolta dropped the ball a bit there. I have ... Read review

A printer good for home use
Review of Canon PIXMA IP2500 by Sweetpea1075

Advantages: Inexpensive, Nice design, modern looking, OK for everyday use
Disadvantages: Noisy, takes ages to start up, goes through ink quickly

...had broken. I have a Canon camera and know that Canon is a good well know brand. It also looks nice and modern and has a nice shiny black finish. For the jobs that I want it to do at the moment, it performs well, although I am hoping to print out some large photo prints in the near future, so will be upgrading. For standard photos and written documents, it does the job nicely, although some of the colours on the photos did not come out the same ...
...the printer itself, as my PC may not be set up correctly. The disadvantage is the amount of ink it uses. I have never used so much over the last few months, especially if you are printing out photos - it is not a cheap option. Much cheaper to get them done at processing lab or online. The ink is not cheap for this printer either, compared with other similar printers. Although I have found that even when it says it is empty, there is still actually ... Read review
